I agree. Good Riddance! Don’t let the door hit you in the butt. I generally don’t recommend suing, but I hope those kids can re-coup more than just their attorney fees. /I bet Nifong can get a job with Fox News. spittles

What a skunk. I’m sure he has a good future in Dem politics.

Well, I will say one thing for him: at least, unlike our former Felon-in Chief, Bill Clinton, at least he has the decency to resign.

ST: I’m sure your right, he will be on Greta’s show in a within a week, with the other talking heads……….

    What is the old saying

    Good riddance to bad rubbish

Typical complex attorney statement. Why couldn’t he have just said, “I think I’d better resign for the betterment of justice in this community”, but he had to “lawyerize” his statement. Give us a break from all the phony spun wording. Keep it simple.

As I suffer at home with this stupid cold, I am reminded how destructive our court system can be. How many border agents are in jail now because of a D.A.? Nifong is another example. So my question is, if you are poor and not high profile , what happens to you in the court system today. What if you don’t know anyone ? Scary I think. And do not hire that same attorney the border agents did, that’s definite jail time.

When a local or US D.A. behaves badly. you can not fire the bum.

How many D.A.’s can you name who have behaved so badly that you would out right fire disbar, and toss into a long term jail cell

at least ten come to my mind without effort

Resignation is just another ploy. He admits to all the misdemeanors but not the felony charges. He’s hoping this move will save him from being disbarred.

This is the template to deal with Sutton.
