Nutroot Cindy Sheehan has issued an ultimatum to Nancy Pelosi:
Six weeks after announcing her departure from the peace movement, Cindy Sheehan said Sunday that she plans to run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unless she introduces articles of impeachment against President Bush in the next two weeks.
I’m sure that Speaker Pelosi is shaking in her go-go boots about that one. And what did Mr. Bush do in Ms. Sheehan’s mind to deserve impeachment?
Sheehan, who turns 50 on Tuesday, said Bush should be impeached because she believes he misled the public about the reasons for going to war, violated the Geneva Convention by torturing detainees and crossed the line by commuting the prison sentence of former vice presidential aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby. She said other grounds for impeachment are the domestic spying program and the “inadequate and tragic” response to Hurricane Katrina.
If she would’ve put in something about botching the English language, I’d be right there with her. Maybe next time.

GWB should be impeached. He has allowed the USA to be invaded by Mexico. Iraq is just the frosting on the impeachment cake.
Cindy and Nancy deserve each other. I disagree with the politics, but I can see why Sheehan would be mad at Pelosi.
It’s scary to be agreeing with the likes of Cindy Sheehan, but as the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
To me, for the Mexican border to be open nearly 6 years since 9/11 is nothing less than treason, as well as numerous other examples: he should be impeached NOW, as well as Gubner 39% too!
Cindy Sheehan has been used and abused by nancy and her crowd. She was a mouthpiece until not needed, then discarded. George Soros and the wacko left were lied to by nancy and her crew and now…….. heads have to roll. We are still in Iraq, gas is still high, and GW is still Pres. This fringe group of democrats are furious that nothing has been done.

I do not want Nancy Pelosi as my president. If we impeach GW, then they will go after Cheney, once he is removed voila…… We have such a short time left with GW, let’s hold our noses and carry on.

#5 - A good case for impeachment??? Because he exercised his constitutional authority and commuted Libby’s sentence??? That might not be the silliest thing you’ve ever said but I think its in the top ten.
Note the hypocrisy inherent in the left. Every single one of Clinton’s pardons in the last minutes of his administration were more questionable, imo, than Bush’s commutating (part of) libby’s sentence. But then, I bet Olbermann was silent.
How do you think GWB would fair in a no confidence vote? I have no confidence in him. I wouldnt let him run a snow cone stand.

Second - you actually think that Olbermann cares a rip about the Constitution? They tread on it even more than the current Republicans by just making up crap about what it says, ie Establishment clause, right to privacy (abortion), right to gay marriage, 2nd amendment only covering hunting guns, and then only at the government’s pleasure.
That guy is worthy only of being ignored.
Besides, if Bush resigns like Olbermann calls for, Cheney probably goes with him, and then Olbermann gets what he REALLY wants.

No it hasn’t been ‘open’, where our own government ignores their own laws. And you seem to have missed that the threat we are under since that day is UNPRECEDENTED! Especially sinbce we have a sworn enemy who has said they will use ANY advantage to kill as many of our people as they can.

Under normal conditions, I would agree jimb, and I agree with american woman that the Dim’s would love to get Bush and Cheney out of the way. But this is his own fault.
Whether or not his malfaesance or dereliction of duty would be deemed as treason, I realize is open to debate.
But aftre the way he has spit in the collective faces of his constituents, I would give a tinker’s damn if they do, he deserves it, from someone who did vote for him.
What choice was there? At least he overturned the partial birth abortion law, but after his handling of the war, the Dubai ports deal, Harriet Myers, his ignoring of the immigration laws, and his fervor to pass the shamenesty bill, he should be impeached before he can bungle anything else, IMHO.
Bush will be out in around 17 months. He has alienated his own party to the point where Republicans are routinely criticizing him. The opposition party suffers from acute chronic BDS and will not work with him even if they’re on the same side. He is the lamest of lame duck Presidents. More harm than good will come to our nation from any attempt at impeachment. You should also keep in mind that the reasons given by the extreme left for impeachment have nothing to do with those being expressed here so there would be no bipartisan consensus for such a move. 17 months is not a long time, folks. Let’s just let the process of elections play out the way it’s supposed to.
I agree that the open boarder during peacetime is not an impeachable offense. Although the open border in time of war is a major tactical blunder (And let’s face it the terror problem dates back to at least Reagan.) Ol’ Ronnie should have gone in to the middle east and split some heads. Instead we spent twenty years slapping at the problem like so many gnats at a family picnic.
When it comes to the boarder Bush needs to see that the Latin Americans and specifically the Mexicans are not coming here to be “Good” Neighbors. The Illegals coming in are plain and simple an invasion force. No different the the Vandals, Goths, and Visigoths were to the Roman Empire. They are coming here for the “Reconquista” the return to the Southwest US to Mexico. The 14th Amendment useful in it’s time is now the albatross around our neck. All the Mexican “Putas” have to do is come squeeze out a bastard on the north shore of the Rio Grande and the child is an instant citizen and the mother/parent(s) are garenteed a green card until that child reaches adulthood . Citizenship should be a right based on following the law. If you are a parent and you’re in this country illegally with the intent of birthing an anchor baby then that baby’s citizenship is invalid based on the illegal entry into the country by the parents. Period end and no further discussion. We can’t keep rewarding bad behavior with citizenship.
I’m not much of a Bush fan right now in light of his selling us out to Mexico, but moonbat is the one that should be impeached. I hope she does run, and moreover, I hope she wins. It will only help the true constitutional conservative cause.
I would say that going to war in Iraq and lying about the reasons — that is, going to war for no good reason — is an impeachable offense. It would be better to impeach Cheney first, though, and refuse to approve Bush’s VP nominee. As much as I hate the idea of a President Pelosi, I would greatly enjoy watching Hillary’s head explode as she watches history pass her by.
An Impeachable offense is ANY offence agreed to by a plurality of the US House of Representatives. Period. End of Debate!
I belive that El Presidente Jorge has commited border treason. [A lot of folks can be bought with just a part of that $148,000,000 of cold cash found in the home of one of the "movers and shakers" of Mexico last week.]

You cannot impeach someone including Bush for being STUPID.
His policies concerning our security sucks IMO but he has done nothing that can be considered an impeachable offense.
I agree TEX06 with your first sentence in your comment, however Bushco’s cover is that EVERYTHING that you or I would impeach Bush over the DEMOCRATS agreed to early on. They too are culpable for this mess and they know it.
If the Dems really thought they had a clear shot at Bush for impeachment, the precedings would have begun Last Feb 1st. That is why they are trying to pick off all the presidents men in the fashion they have and to make the Presdient’s office completely ineffectual.
I respect others point of view that impeaching Bush would be non beneficial, but the main reason he deserves and warrants impeachment is this:

Oh, yes, my source: It is called the Constitution of the United States of America.
Take a look. It will state that it is the responsibility of the government to “secure the borders”. It also states that the government is to “provide for the general welfare” of its citizens. It says nothing about all the accommodations and concessions we are required to make towards illegal entrants. But, if you find such statements in the Constitution–let us all know.
Because Bush has blatantly disregarded his oath of office, because he has not DEFENDED THE NATION AGAINST ALL ENEMIES FORIEGN AND DOMESTIC, as he has sworn to do, he is guilty of treason in my mind, and should be impeached for being the traitor that he is.
