    More gems from that thread:

Very nice. Quite the eloquent argument against our President’s decision to go to war. Of course no discussion of Iraq would be complete without the obligatory “chimp” reference to our President:

When are some Bushes, Cheneys, Roves, Rumsfeldts, and Rices going to die in this war. If the chimp Bush wanted to start a war, send his kids first. When are you ignorant people going to donating your kids to a winless war!!!!!!!

You forgot to preface “chimp” with “smirking” though, mechiii. Every self-respecting moonbat should remember that. Actually, respect probably isn’t part of the thought process there, so strike that last sentence.

” Classy ” is NOT the word I would have used .
But I’ve never had a comment delited so I’ll just leave it at that.

If THAT was “classy”……….I’ll take classless please! (with a much larger dose of REALITY)

Absolutely disgusting. My heart (and prayers) goes out to the family of SFC Kettle. I’ve got a different body part reserved to demonstrate what I think of classy guys like bluecollar, fido and mechiii. (Although I’m sure they all “support the troops, just not the mission.” Yeah, right.)

Sgt. 1st Class Jeffrey D. Kettle

His turds were better than any of the pukes that made those comments!

Thanks for your service SFC Kettle.

THEY WANT US TO LOSE. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. I DO QUESTION THEIR PATRIOTISM AND THEIR SANITY. The caliphate will not be as understanding:

Noriega had the libnut trifecta going on in his campaign ad:
Katrina, The war, and the Chil’rens….

I agree with you. Those people are genuinely scary. I get the same creeped out feeling when I read the comments on huffingtonpost and dailykos.

And they’re walking the streets right next to us!!

    /Twilight Zone music.

  7. Adee on August 15th, 2007 at 9:30 am

The Kos creeps walk amongst the Chron’s web pages. Correction, they slither. What elegant rhetoric, demonstrating years of elite schooling–not. And the Chron posts it all….

  8. Fasternu 426 on August 15th, 2007 at 9:33 am

They say what the Chron writers feel but are not going to write themselves.

  9. RickG on August 15th, 2007 at 10:03 am

Too bad the Chron doesn’t have the decency to monitor and eliminate the sick comments.

  10. Fasternu 426 on August 15th, 2007 at 10:11 am

Ok, I posted my comments on Chron.com…. I just had to, everyone go there and let those losers have it!!!

I didn’t leave a comment, but I flagged several as abusive for numerous reasons, not that it will make a hill of beans difference…

  13. The Dude on August 15th, 2007 at 4:20 pm

    #12 HWMNBNd (but is anyway),

I don’t know if your flagging is the reason or not, but I just noticed that the two comments I mentioned in #1 have both been removed. I have to give The Chronicle credit for removing them, even if it took them a while.

  14. american woman on August 15th, 2007 at 5:26 pm

Rule #1 Do not read anything titled ‘ Houston Chronicle” without malox, or tums at hand. When reading the response remember there is no age limit and the idiots may be teenagers. when someone is so vile, I usualy attribute that to youth. It’s hard for me to believe an adult would write filth.

  15. Dave D on August 15th, 2007 at 7:39 pm

All the comments have been removed, @ 7:35

  16. The Dude on August 15th, 2007 at 9:46 pm

Most of them are still there now (at 9:43 p) Dave. They did remove the ones I quoted earlier though.

  17. Voldemort on August 15th, 2007 at 10:22 pm

As of 10:20, the comments don’t show up. May want to refresh the page and/or clear the cache…

  18. Voldemort on August 15th, 2007 at 10:23 pm

I am glad, though, that the Chron apparently had the taste to get rid of the comments, pervaded as they were by the Kos and Huffpo crowd…

  19. The Dude on August 16th, 2007 at 6:30 am

I think you guys are having computer issues. The comments still appear this morning. There’s even one from Hamous at 9:50 p. I’ve looked at them on three different computers now (all w/ cleared caches). There are 2 pages worth and Hamous’ was the last one at the time of this comment.

Hmm, bluecollar you strike again. How does my cousin’s death have anything to do with Iraq. He died in Afghanistan you nitwit. As I asked you before please, spread your anti-war agenda somewhere else instead of leaving your comments on web pages after articles about his death. My family has a hard enough time dealing with his death and we can deal without some half-witted liberal, cnn watching, arm-chair quarter back leaving comments about Iraq and how his children will live without their father thanks to Bush and Cheney’s oil war in Iraq. Actually read the whole article before leaving your commentsand if you have to leave your comment and try to show a little respect for our hero and our family.

  21. pidiwife on August 16th, 2007 at 12:18 pm

Sorry, what I meant to say is actually read the whole article before leaving your comments and if you have to leave a comment, try to show a little respect for our hero and our family.

  22. pidiwife on August 16th, 2007 at 12:19 pm

By the way, thank you all for your condolences. It’s nice to know that there are still people out there who support our troops.
