The terrorist organization Hamas is known for their ruthlessness. They routinely blow up Israeli citizens. Yet they are still the liberal world’s favorite “oppressed” minority. Now they’ve gone too far:
A show on Hamas TV depicting a man in a bee suit abusing cats and lions at a Gaza Strip zoo drew a protest Wednesday from the animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
In the segment on the children’s program “Tomorrow’s Pioneers,” one of the show’s characters, a human-sized bee named Nahoul, swings cats around by their tails and throws stones at lions through the bars in their cage at the zoo.
According to the article this was a “do as I say, not as I do” demonstration of what NOT to do to animals. But a PETA spokesman had this to say:
“They say this is supposed to be educational on how not to treat animals, but it is common knowledge that children will mimic the behavior they see,” PETA spokesman Martin Mersereau told The Associated Press. “This will not win Hamas any sympathy now the world sees how they teach their children cruelty.”
…
“Teaching people to respect the most defenseless of animals helps people respect each other,” Mersereau said.
Children will mimic the behavior they see? Uh, yeah, they strap bombs on their own children so they can blow up Israeli children, just like Daddy did! How are you going to teach them to respect each other? I’m just guessing but treating animals humanely probably starts with treating HUMANS humanely.

Why not put the PETA person in the cage and throw rocks at it? Maybe the children would mimic that.
I have no quarrel with PETA’s objections to this tv show. It would be interesting to know how many other times in the past the have denounced Hamas for its murder and mis-treatment of Jews and Israelis. Or are animals the only beneficiaries worthy of their compassion and righteous indignation ?
They are conditioning the children to stomache hateful acts. The more they see mistreatment, the less they are upset by it. It sickens me
Look at some crap from the same TV show. The bee is a replacement for the Hamas version of Mickey mouse that was “martyred” by the Jews. These are the people that liberal dhimmicrats think we should sit across the table from and make treaties.
Here’s some links.
The third one down is when the eeevil Jew kills poor Farfur.

Uh, *Hamas* is “oppressed” according to the liberals? You sure about that? Did you mean “Palestinians”? (They are NOT one and the same!)
As for how much People for the Ethical Treatment has spoken about human victims of violence…is it lost on you that the organization is called “People for the Ethical Treatment of ANIMALS”? If I give money to the American Cancer Society, I’d find it more than a bit peculiar if I’d find out about the work they’re doing to cure Diabetes.
I agree with American Woman. Any time you desensitize children (or anybody!) to violence of any kind, you’ve got problems. God knows that Israel doesn’t need any more of that.
Uh, yeah I’m sure.
I also agree that desensitizing kids to violence is not good. But when you teach your kids to blow themselves up and kill as many Jews as possible, cruelty to animals is most likely the LEAST of your problems.
As far as PETA goes, I would think that they could find some place else to direct their silly protests other than at a few inbred Palestinians swinging cats around by the tail. What, don’t they have any more fur coats to throw blood on? I guess they’re pretty bored since they got caught killing dogs and cats and throwing them in the dumpster at the Piggly Wiggly.
“They are NOT one and the same!”
They voted for a terrorist organization to be their representative government.
You guys are just reaching now. PETA is about supporting animals. There is no reason to expect them to comment directly about the way children are treated. There are plenty of “pro-children” people you get to comment if you want to hear from them.
You liberals just don’t get it houstondem. Its not about PETA and animals. Its about PETA trying to get people that blow themselves up to kill other human beings to care about animals. Does the term “exercise in futility” sound familiar?
houstondim
These are not the droids you are looking for….
What do you expect from PETA? They are always going to focus on the animal aspect of a story. That is the main and only issue they concern themselves with. And do you guys honestly care about what PETA has to say about Israel/Palestine?
I wish all these got-danged trees would get out of the way so I could see that forest…
No kidding, faster. Even when you ’splain it to ‘em they still don’t get it.
Cruelty to animals is one of the serious warnings signs that the person committing the acts will become a serial killer. It really should be no surprise to anyone that Hamas is cruel to animals.
Hey PETA, welcome to 20 years ago! Hamas is an organization of savage murderers. We’re glad you finally woke up.
Serial killer? That specific? It just means they accept violence, so they are more likely to do violence to other innocent creatures (or those smaller than them).
PETA sucks. Of all the things Hamas should be lambasted for … but hey maybe it could be like getting Al Capone on tax evasion. Enough people care about Hamas hurting cats that perhaps they’ll notice what else their doing.
