One more time - all hat, no cattle. How many illegals entered the US during the Senate vote alone?

AMEN MR. RASTUS, anyone one can stand up for what cronyn does, but it takes shoving and pushing to get anything else.

Once again, Sen. John Cornyn gets the job done. The man is amazing.

    4.

Cornyn voted against the amnesty bill this summer, and vocally opposed it before the vote. What exactly are you blaming him for?

  6. bigjolly on September 20th, 2007 at 5:45 pm

He is being blamed because he is effective. Ineffective politicians get ignored.

  7. houstondem on September 20th, 2007 at 5:51 pm

7 - Another dog-and-pony show from the reubs. Aren’t there some REAL problems out there that need to be addressed?

Those running for office (HELLary and others) don’t want to p*ss off Moveon.org. Everybody already knows the Dimwits position on the military especially HELLary during Bill’s administration and her Senate career. If the military win in Iraq, the Dimwits lose, plain and simple!!!!

    Houstondem,

There are some real problems out there. Today, I went to the airport and met the body of Sgt. Omar Mora and escorted him to the funeral home.

For all of you guys that think it doesn’t matter that Democrats in leadership positions give encouragement to the people that are killing our young men and women, I say you are full of it.

It matters. It’s a big deal.

“Republicans in Congress should follow Cornyn’s lead on this issue and others. Republicans should seek every opportunity to tie the Democrats as tightly as they can to their left wing support system.”

    Who love’s you baby?

And the same to #’s 1 and 2.

I applaud Sen. Cornyn’s efforts on this issue, even though it is entirely political in nature. I applaud Sen. Cornyn’s efforts on illegal immigration when he votes with his constituents. I believe that he would often prefer to vote the other way and would if he thought no one was looking. That’s all I’m trying to say.

I agree when I can trust cronyn I will support him but as long as he plays the boosh, goodhair and hutch game no way and no vote.

Since you have never served - oh forget it you will never understand.

The honor is due those that make the sacrifice and no one else.

Bigjolly: WOW! It’s seems that John Cornyn has been Spot on! I have a few questions…have you looked at his PREVIOUS voting record? Yanno, the record when he got elected into office, not the record he’s making before coming up for re-election? Show me something substantial before 2 years ago. I’ll be waiting for a response.

    Thank you in advance.

What are we to make of the large number of Dems who also voted Yea along with the Repubs? I’d guess that some are blue dog Dems, but there aren’t that many of them. Diane Feinstein is certainly no conservative, and she voted yea as did Herb Kohl of WI.

I’d also suppose the constituents have spoken all over the country and are royally ticked off about that ghastly ad. And the Senators who are not chained to Move.On voted accordingly. Maybe some who are not in a secure seat also decided it was in their interest to do so.

Anyhow, a most satisfying vote and plenty of fodder for opponents of those voting nay. Thank you, Sen. Cornyn, for leading the charge.

Feinstein also caught my eye in the Yea column. I can’t figure that out. Maybe she recognizes basic decency. Some libs do :-)

So how much testosterone did he have to borrow to come up with this much courage? The web is shaking a and quaking from this show of senatorial force.
