Disgusting. Remind me to never 1) visit San Franciso or 2) visit San Francisco. Wonder what Gov. Terminator has to say…

  4. american woman on October 2nd, 2007 at 7:18 am

Decadence at it’s best. I thought gays drank wine and beer was only for us conservative red necks. I guess Miller doesn’t care who they offend, or how their brands attachment to this type of activity could affect sales. No more Miller anything for me. Wonder how long it will take Miller to fire their head of marketing?

  5. southerntragedy on October 2nd, 2007 at 7:21 am

I heard Edd Hendee yesterday, and he had his Miller lite pulled from Taste of Texas.

Kuddos to him and I hope others will follow.

No matter what is said about our “freedoms” this is a pervertion and should have been stopped. I think we see now what maybe the islamic communities think about the US and its evil influence. Letting this type of acts go on in public only ignites zealots to act more violently and based on these photos I could see others reacting. If we are going to build any fences for security lets put one around San Fransico and Key West and keep out the real killers of this country.

  7. jphilb on October 2nd, 2007 at 7:24 am

I need to send ESPN an email.
Milwaukee’s Best is a big sponsor of the World Series of Poker.

And I thought gay men were supposed to be hawt (however a woman would define that term relating to a guy). I do, however, know a fat pig when I see one.

Off to go get some mind bleach. BRB.

if we have to intern the muslims it should be bordering this area in San Fran. the libs will be saying can’t we all just get along?

  9. texanborn on October 2nd, 2007 at 7:46 am

It’s extremely sad that this behavior really exists and is flaunted in the streets of the United States. My husband and I are now official Shiner drinkers and have banned Miller from our life.

    Then there’s this:

    http://sfist.com/2007/09/25/marines_banned.php
San Francisco banned the US Marine corps from flimng a Recruiting Commercial on thier streets.

This summer, the banned the Blue Angels from performing.

Over at OPFOR, when asked how he felt about that, an Air Force Lt. Col. replied:

“We’re paid to defend San Francisco. We do the rest of the country for free.”

  13. Fasternu 426 on October 2nd, 2007 at 8:05 am

And people bring THEIR CHILDREN to this crap!

” Two-year-olds Zola and Veronica Kruschel waddled through Folsom Street Fair amidst strangers in fishnets and leather crotch pouches, semi and fully nude men.
The twin girls who were also dressed for the event wore identical lace blouses, floral bonnets and black leather collars purchased from a pet store.
Fathers Gary Beuschel and John Kruse watched over them closely. They were proud to show the twins off. ”

    snip…

” Why do (these people) bring kids here? This is a leather fair for god’s sake, said Bahran Aliassa, who was masturbating in public. He has been doing it annually for the past six years.”

    http://xpress.sfsu.edu/archives/news/004352.html

A guy who was weenie whackin’ in the street had the nerve to be offended by people that bring their kids!

San Fran area is truly depraved. Remind me again why gays should be allowed to adopt and marry like heteros?

NO MORE Miller! BTW they also sponsor illegal alien rallies!

But to answer your question: Beer is healthy.

I heard Edd Hendee yesterday, and he had his Miller lite pulled from Taste of Texas.

I wondered about this, and I’m happy to see that Edd walks the walk. Bravo Edd.

Let me ask this group a question. What good thing ever came from drinking beer or from a beer joint.

Flavor. I like the taste of beer, so to me it’s like asking what good has come from eating fried cheese.

Obviously, you must drink beer, or any alcohol, in moderation. Driving my car through my neighborhood isn’t a problem. Driving my car through my neighborhood doing 100 is a problem. Drinking a beer or two with my steak isn’t a problem. Drinking 8 beers with my steak is a problem. Moderation.

I’ve never fully understood why militant homosexuals feel compelled to denigrate Christianity and desecrate its symbols. Could it be because (most of) Christianity considers their conduct to be sin and they are not comfortable with their own lifestyles?

What effect will a restaurant in Houston pulling Miller beer have on beer distributorships in San Francisco which sponsored this event?

  30. Fasternu 426 on October 2nd, 2007 at 9:47 am

When Miller Beer sees it is losing money in Houston, and Austin (ok, maybe not Austin), San Antonio, St Louis, Birmingham, Sioux City, Louisville, Norfolk, Jackson, Oklahoma City….. they might get the picture. This is not an issue any company needs to get involved in. It is also a political issue with gay rights and such. They alienated part of their customer base with this. Would they sponsor an event that had them showing mohammed in S&M getup? I doubt it, but they can do it to Christians and its ok?

Then maybe they can get another sponsor,
Vaseline? Preparation H? Duracell? Bengay? Fruit Loops? Fruit Stripe Gum?

  31. Fasternu 426 on October 2nd, 2007 at 9:49 am

Oh BTW the poster for the event had a Davinci’s “Last Supper” theme with leather studded Jesus and his Disciples and sex toys, sponsored by Miller Brewing:

    30.

Well, I’ll be interested to see how this boycott of Miller takes off. Haven’t heard much about it yet except on one radio station.

I’m not sure Miller did it as a political statement. Probably had more to do with the fact that up to 20% of the adult population in San Francisco (and probably a higher percentage of beer drinkers) are gay. It’s all about the money, you know.

    31.

Miller withdrew its logo and issued a statement of disapproval (”we take exception to the poster”), but in my view, the statement it was far too weak.

  37. fat albert on October 2nd, 2007 at 10:17 am

The next time you hear someone going off about how it’s just a lifestyle choice, a personal choice, and none of our business, remember this.

“Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.

  38. msmith2iah on October 2nd, 2007 at 10:20 am

How long until God turns San Fran into a smoking crater like Sodom & Gomorrah. As I recall reading, children weren’t spared from the perversions there either. I can’t think of things getting much worse there.

    From the article:

Still, “I guess it wouldn’t be the Folsom Street Fair without offending some extreme members of the global community, though,” he added.

LOL. Those of us offended are extreme, I get it.`

  41. T-Hawkk on October 2nd, 2007 at 10:44 am

That crucifix dildo thing is really, really offensive. They would never do that to any other religion’s symbols except Christianity…

Pray for these people, as difficult as it may be…

  42. Fasternu 426 on October 2nd, 2007 at 10:48 am

And some schools promote the gay lifestyle as normal to the kids by reading them books about Two Princes and such. When you think of any type of Gay Pride type of event, do you picture booths with art or T-shirts, Roasted Corn, Funnel Cakes, Fried stuff on a stick, moonwalks? Or do you picture drag queens and studded leather S&M types getting away with performing sex acts in public so we can think they are “normal”? Since when is walking around masturbating in public ok?

  43. Fasternu 426 on October 2nd, 2007 at 10:56 am

If nothing, gays that have any self respect should stand up and say they are not like that. That they are offended and that they are responsible enough to raise children. No, they are not. They reinforce the prejudices against them. Prejudices that their community is full of deviant sexual practices. Convince me that they are suitable to be raising children and should be allowed to marry. This is not the way to do it.

There are more moderate muslims that speak against terrorism than there are gays that speak out against this stuff. Then the jihadis can look at this and say “SEE!! Look how decadent the West is!” They will demand sha’ria law because western laws do not stop men from having sex with men in the street, in front of children in strollers. And I honestly and reluctantly can say they are right.

  44. hamous on October 2nd, 2007 at 11:00 am

A personal note to LST readers - I understand how offensive some of these images are. As a Christian I am extremely troubled by this. But I think it is important that we inform as many people as possible just exactly how far down in the muck “tolerance” has taken our society. Also important is that Miller Brewing Company executives understand that sponsoring events such as this is totally unacceptable to a large number of the beer-drinking public.

Will a boycott work? Who knows? Personally, I don’t drink Miller beers anyway. At the very least it should cause them to think about the events they sponsor in the future. I’d be willing to bet they won’t sponsor this event again.

  45. texan1953 on October 2nd, 2007 at 11:01 am

RickG…Militant tea totallers are annoying…but they aren’t sticking anything up their butts in public. If you are trying to put them on the same level as this “fair”…get some therapy.

  46. steavester on October 2nd, 2007 at 11:04 am

I am deeply sadden at the idea of how many soldiers died in our great country’s history so these sickos can do this? Men did die for our freedom but it is our utmost responsibility to respect those men by behaving honorably. Those folks that defend this nation are a far cry better than me knowing and seeing this grotesque act. This is beyond offensive. The hard part it can only get worse. God had not laid down a crater yet. God have mercy on all our soles.

  47. Peter on October 2nd, 2007 at 11:08 am

Any chance we can placate the Arab world by giving them San Francisco? We can say, just leave Israel alone and you can have the Bay Area for the Palestinians. Then we can watch the liberals there show us how successful appeasment is.

Quick question: Do you think the Muslims would agree if Mayor Newsome (sp?) proposed a deal to have the gay community wear burkas instead of the Iranian solution?

There are exhibitionist, attention seeking freaks and perverts in every walk of life. Gays in San Francisco aren’t the only ones…

  51. Fasternu 426 on October 2nd, 2007 at 12:04 pm

    Liz,

There was a guy walking around playing with his weiner. He does that every year. There were two 2 year old girls there. The entire festival is to celebrate gay bondage and fetish. The gay community there supports it (instead of stepping up and saying “whoah, that ain’t us”, they embrace it). What other perverts in other walks of life would stoop to the depravity of standing on the corner with a crucifix dildo sticking out of their butt and yaknin’ on yer weiner? I think the only things worse than this would be a festival with child sex, necrophilia, human sacrifice and cannibalism. And don’t think it can’t get worse than it already is!

  52. Triplehelix on October 2nd, 2007 at 12:05 pm

I am just curious. Who else in our society puts on a display as disgusting as public masterbation in front of small girls in dog collars, while selling sex toys with Jeses’s name on them?

  53. Narly on October 2nd, 2007 at 12:11 pm

I knew there was a reason I didn’t like Miller. Until now, I just didn’t really know why. I simply can’t get my head around such depravity.

  54. Fasternu 426 on October 2nd, 2007 at 12:21 pm

Hey, Liz did you click on the more… pictures above? These are mild. Zombie from Zombietime (a poster on LGF) lives in the SF area and has a website devoted to the freakish anti war de in SF. Zombie was conflicted about posting the pictures took, as they were way beyond anything on the Zombietime site (which BTW includes brutal pics of Islamic terrorism).
    http://www.zombietime.com/

Zombie relayed on LGF that there were numerous men walking around with erect penises exposed and being uh… used in various manners.

One of the pics above appear to be showing two John Edwards supporters in the act of gay hiney coitus. And one is supporting some type of weight with his member. Maybe that was the Viagra or Cialis booth? All this, in public, with gay parents pushing their adopted children around in strollers.

Here’s the email I sent to Miller Brewing:

    Dear Miller Beer,

I will no longer purchase nor will I allow Miller products to be brought to my home. Guests will be asked to leave the products in the car or leave the premises. I will go out of my way to avoid Miller products as a result of the Fulton Street festival in San Francisco. I will also contact places that serve Miller Beer and tell them that I will not be their customer as long as Miller is served in their establishment. The media portrayal pales in comparison as to what really went on. I know that Miller Beer sponsored a pro illegal alien rally in Chicago recently and was appalled at that incident. However, this went too far. Miller Brewing company is not socially conscious. If your company is willing to flaunt our laws by sponsoring an illegal alien rally and a gay street orgy, you risk alienating your customer base. I for one will no longer purchase your product. There are beers that are brewed locally and support the community. Anheuser Busch has supported this country and our troops currently serving overseas. I see none of this from Miller Brewing company. I know I am not alone, and hope this will result in Miller becoming more sensitive to the majority of the consumers in this country instead of the fringe element.

Until then, This Bud’s for me.

Alas…but this is also the price of freedom…

Start emailing restaurant chains like Chilis and TGI Fridays, Applebees and such. NASCAR, NHRA etc… tell them that you will not attend any event that has support from Miller Brewing Company.

I’ll look for email addy’s and post ‘em if ya want.

Maybe next year they should have the illegal alien rally and the Street Fair at the same time, same place. There would probably be a lot of self-deportation after that.

K, I’ll look tonight! It’s time real Americans stood up against those that hate what America really is!

We are not perverted freaks that hate the troops!
You couldn’t get those WORD DELETED; NO NO NO, THX to put on a parade for the military, but they’d gather together in the street and pull their pants down and shove something in their anus at the drop of a hat. With their kids watching I might add!

    Please watch language, Fasternu.

You know I love you though.

    Not like that, of course.

Did anyone notice there is a Miller lite google add on the upper right page of this thread?

  93. texpat on October 2nd, 2007 at 6:18 pm

Liz, that is actually an Ebay ad covering all things Miller. Most of it is welding equipment with a couple of beer memorabilia things thrown in. It does look like an ad for Miller beer though.

Ever have days where nothing you say comes out right? I’m having one of those days. Think I’ll shut up…

  95. american woman on October 2nd, 2007 at 6:43 pm

I’m really concerned where this country is headed. Cities are refusing to obey laws. Judges are changing laws to suit their own agenda, and now children are being heralded at pornographic street fairs. Where is the outrage? I’m fed up lol

Speaking against spectacles like this happening in public or being taught in schools (they’ve already taught fisting) will soon be a hate crime - and will be punished.

    If you like this …vote Democrat….vote Hillary….vote Nancy…vote Edwards.

    This country will be unrecognizable.

I agree, talk is cheap. Let’s watch to see if they follow through. They do want the NFL crowd, which I don’t think is the San Fran Sicko crowd.

What effect will a restaurant in Houston pulling Miller beer have on beer distributorships in San Francisco which sponsored this event?

    And then this:

So. Miller (perhaps) did it as a political statement?

Question: How many beer drinking gays in SF? - and how many good ‘ole boys (and girsl) in the rest of the country?

I rather think that the good ‘ole boys (and girls) will be so turned off by this that they would do without before quaffing a Miller!

Add in their support for illegals, and I predict Miller will live to regret their PC actions!

  103. squawkbox on October 2nd, 2007 at 11:28 pm

So. Miller (perhaps) did it as a political statement?

    Miller did it for MONEY

I realize that is hard to believe. But Phillip Morris, who owns Miller Brewing, does nothing without considering the dollar.

Add in their support for illegals, and I predict Miller will live to regret their PC actions!

There is not a company in the United States that does not seek to expand their product recognition in every demographic group. Some are more noticable than others. All the US brewing companies have strong advertisement in the hispanic communities. Sorry but it ain’t focused “just” on illegals as some would like to believe.

Fairs, even as discusting as this one is are popular places for beer companies to advertise. Miller Brewing the parent company provides advertising dollars to the local distributors and generally the locals determine where the dollars go. There is no doubt they knew what the Folsom Street Fair was about, but some clown probably decided that the PC climate was such that they could sponsor for the advertisement value.

  104. One Voice on October 3rd, 2007 at 12:01 am

Of course advertisers try to reach all demographics. That is the purpose of advertising. When driving through a predominantly black community, the people on the billboards are black - the same for hispanic - or asian.

What they aren’t (for the most part) is ILLEGAL!

It’s ILLEGALS that should not be dignified with the attention (pandering to demographics, indeed!).

Nor, getting back to the thread of this discussion, should perverts!!!!!

  105. squawkbox on October 3rd, 2007 at 9:32 am

    One Voice

I am not trying to be contentious here, but there is a suggestion here that Miller did this out of some political correctness motivation. Nothing can be further from the truth. It is all about the money.

Furthermore I explained how these fairs and stuff get their advertising. The advertisement for the Folsom St. fair was initiated at distributor level. I agree the decision to support the fair was a huge boo boo, but the motivation was
    M-O-N-E-Y.

All companies pander to the demographics. Take a drive through your town and note the various languages on the billboards and then note where they are placed. Go to a college town and note the themes in the ads.

And yes companies create advertisement targeting the gay demographic.

The homosexuals in Frisco have declered Holy war on America. Its not just “butt plugs”. Look at this vile picture http://flickr.com/photos/cstrasse/1466988334/

  108. hal9000 on October 5th, 2007 at 12:31 pm

Interesting that Miller was the only Fortune 500 type company stupid enough to sponsor this detestable event. Not Coke. Not Pepsi. Not McDonalds. Not Sears, GM, American Airlines, or Hertz.

Just Miller and a bunch of businesses that cater to the miscreants that attend this event.

If this was all about money as has been suggested here where were any of these other companies? What, they don’t need money?

I hate to think that you guys think these freak-shows are representative of mainstream gay/lesbian people.

But it sure looks that way.

  110. bigjolly on October 6th, 2007 at 1:42 pm

    Bob42,

How is it possible for us to think otherwise? I mean, look around, whose voice is loudest? Those homosexuals that prefer a low key, everyday life much like middle America or those that are always in our face, trying to force their deviant lifestyles on us?
