I think the candidate calculator I just played with, was constructed by the Tom Cox for President people. hehehehehehehe Vote for Tom Cox, who has never won anything before.

My quiz result indicates a Hunter/Tancredo ticket.
    Hmmmm.

DB, guess the Candidate Calculator beats traveling to Greece to consult the Oracle at Delphi–lots cheaper. Is Miss Cleo out of the slammer yet? I understand there was this slight problem with fraud….

The calculator works - good discovery. It’s not perfect but if you learn one thing from it - it’s worth your time! David Benzion is jealous because he’s can’t charge for his political consultation! Just kidding David - besides I like Miss Cleo.

    This post stays.

    So says the swordsman.

Here are my calcualtions in order as they gave them to me.. Very telling of how conservative Rudy Jokeliani is.

    Duncan Hunter

    Fred Thompson

    Ron Paul

    Mike Huckabee

    Sam Brownback

    John McCain

    Mitt Romney

    Bill Richardson

    Tom Tancredo

    Jim Gilmore

    Barack Obama

    John Edwards

    Joe Biden

    Hillary Clinton

    Dennis Kucinich

    Mike Gravel

    Rudy Giuliani

    Chris Dodd

DJ, I’m surprised Tancredo was so low on the list. What were the biggest disagreements between his positions and yours?

  8. DanielJames on October 9th, 2007 at 9:49 am

    Matt

I dont know. I just answered the questions. Maybe The Tank isnt conservative enough for me.

  9. dcgirl on October 9th, 2007 at 10:23 am

The question I have is that on some of them, it said I disagreed with the candidate, although I don’t think I really did (such as we are in Iraq for a long time vs we should stay as long as it takes - I don’t really think that is much of a disagreement) however, on some of the things that said I disagreed with a candidate I couldn’t find what their position was - wasn’t listed. In any event, once again Tancredo, McCain, Thompson, and Hunter are my top 4. Another calculator had the same people just in different order. Still don’t know how McCain gets up there so high since I think he is a closet lib.

I get Tancredo everytime I take these tests.

Tancredo/McCain(?) But I disagree with McCain on immigration which is very important. Build a fence!

Hillary got the lowest score on my test.

My calculator came out Fred Thompson 1st then Hunter 2nd. I do not know a whole lot about Thompson except I liked his show. That is not reason to vote for him though. I read his site, which did not say much. I need more input.

Even Thompson and Hunter were low on my immigration scale. And to me that is VERY important.

I am very disapointed. Again I will have to vote for the least evil.

Why can I not find a candidate who is as conservative as I am.

  12. Taking a nap on October 9th, 2007 at 10:48 am

Hillbillary was last on my list with obama just above her.

  13. Adee on October 9th, 2007 at 11:28 am

Watch the Republican debate tonight on MSNBC (Mess NBC) with Chris Matthews moderating (can he resist pontificating/bloviating?) 8-10 pm Central Daylight Time. Fred Thompson’s in it this time. Depending on how stupid/biased the questions are, we might learn more about the candidates’ positions. Worth a look-see-hear.

  14. Narly on October 9th, 2007 at 1:02 pm

Wow, that was kinda fun. Tancreado way ahead of the others. But still, not as conservative as I’d really like.

  15. Kyle on October 9th, 2007 at 1:16 pm

Interesting… my top three were Tancredo, Hunter and Thompson (not too big of a surprise).

The end of my list was a three-way tie between Osama-bama, the Brecke Girl and Shrillary (again no surprise). The only real surprise in the results were that all three of those Democrat candidates at the end of the list apparently agree with me in support of the death penalty. I’m surprised anyone looking for the libs’ votes would dare to support the EEEEvil death penalty!

  16. gadboy on October 9th, 2007 at 3:42 pm

My top three choices were Clinton, Obama, and Dodd. A lot of libs, me included, support the death penalty.

  17. gadboy on October 9th, 2007 at 3:42 pm

This seems to be pretty accurate.

  18. gadboy on October 9th, 2007 at 3:44 pm

Bottom 3- thompson, tancredo, and brownback.
