After reading the link in Benzion’s post below, I thought this was timely.
Rodney King, whose beating by Los Angeles police in 1991 drew international headlines, has been shot, but his wounds are not life-threatening, according to media reports.
Police said when they arrived at the home, King and others there appeared drunk and few were cooperative in providing information.

Hasn’t Rodney King been in trouble two or three times, since his beating? I don’t condone the beating, but the guy doesn’t seemed to have learned much.
Based on what has happen to Rodney King after that famous quote, he really wasn’t as nice a person as they made him out to be. But playing the “race” card got him a lot of milage and notariety until he showed his true colors. Where is Al and Jesse to defend him now or did they also get all the milage they could before they dumped him.

I wonder how much money he has left from the lawsuit? I heard the first thing he did was buy a crack rock bigger than his head!
Not long after the LA riots, Mr. King was often in trouble with the law, with a penchant for fast cars and reckless driving. When his civil suit was settled and he was awarded a large sum of $$ from the City of LA, Rush Limbaugh suggested the city would come out ahead if they bought him a Ferrari Testarossa……..that way his recidivism and the public burden would soon be over.
