What do you expect from Fred? the script writers are on strike, he seems lost without them.

Fred Thompson didn’t make the impact we all thought he was going to make once he got in. He maybe good at acting when someone else prepares a script for him to memorize. Maybe he should memorize his staff’s prepared answers for each potential question. But he had better hope they don’t ask him a question where he has to adlib an answer. I guess he could say “let me look into it and I’ll get back with you”

    Help, I’m being repressed!

Let’s draft Ted Poe next election!

I heard Thompson supporters saying what a good job he did in the debate. It’s each person’s perspective. I don’t care how charismatic a person is. I don’t need to be entertained, dynamically cajoled, or smiled at and lied to. I need a president who is firm and can stand up to the future facing us. Perhaps he looked less than stellar because he realized he was at a debate, engineered by CNN to ask irrelevent questions that were designed to make Republicans look like racist, psycho, religious haters.

Um, AW, could you post a few of the questions that made Republicans look bad?

  6. american woman on November 29th, 2007 at 4:16 pm

I did on the other thread BigJ…… did it make them look bad? No. Did these idiotic questions give us plans and information about the state of taxation, states rights and other issues we need to learn about. No. It was untoward and out of line to ask What Jesus would think of the death penalty. These questions were picked to feed the belief that we conservative Republicans are right wing nut jobs. How many questions have the dems faced like this? none. I’m sick of the double standard. It’s ok to be happy about the debate, but let’s call the debate what it really was. This debate was a CNN planned function to feed the liberal masses.

Fine. Then let’s let the results speak for themselves. Pubbie’s kicked tail.

    Okay?
