Sounds good to me. My wife likes him. I wish he’d have more fire in the belly. I like his positions on almost everything.

Good post BigJ. I heard this comment yesterday. Rush listed the agencies envolved in the NIE, I believe it’s 16. Just hearing the list makes me think, we have too many agencies. Homeland Security is one. Cough, Choke, Gasp.

    “we have too many agencies”

Like the Department Of Redundancy Department?

    Faster,

He’s not going to kick a liberal down a well and pull a sword and yell this is Sparta

Fred’s an adult - waiting for all the other lookatmes to finally implode it may take until mid January but they will

Kat, I hope so.. I hope so. He’s the only one I agree with the most. I just hope he doesn’t wait too long. Huckabee was quite a disappointment.

    5

Faster - haven’t we had enough of disengenious people

John Kerry saluting - reporting for duty
and so on and so forth

He wouldn’t be having his wife insulted - his daughters death mocked as a drug overdose (they gave her the wrong medicine in surgery) and being called lazy and stupid throughout the entire country - a guy who worked his way through college and served honorably in the Senate - not something most people can say.

also he just almost died and is slowly building his health back up.

The only ones i could support are fred duncan and tom. anyone else in the current mix is out of the question unless you want more Rick Perry’s.

Wonder how many of the reporters actually travel with the Thompson campaign. Seems like most of ‘em repeat the party line that he’s not making a good campaign because other newsies have said he’s not making a good campaign, and they’re too lazy to see for themselves. A laid back personality makes it easy to talk softly and carry a big stick. And snooker the opposition.

Although I hear you loud and clear BigJolly, I’ve been heavy on researching all of the candidates starting in March when Fred first asked if we wanted to draft him into running.

From everything I hear and see very recently, which includes a county official, the voters are still only listening to what the candidates have to say today instead of comparing that with their records…and all of it is free and available on the net but, 125 Million and their families don’t know basically anything what they should know.

when Fred first asked if we wanted to draft him into running

That’s pretty telling in and of itself, if true.

People are researching and telling their neighbors, at least for a few other campaigns. Fredheads are sitting back and smearing other candidates instead of talking positive about their own.

Hey, it’s a strategy and you are welcome to it but I don’t think it’s a good one. IMHO, of course.

BTW, here is the link you provided elsewhere, maybe Fredheads will start working for their candidate.

If there is anything that gets my dander up it is whiners. Especially when the whiners are whinning about something that it is obvious that they are misinformed on or just taking cheep shots because they can.

DO I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION NOW?

Those of you who are whinning about the fredheads not speaking out about the positive things about the Fred Thompson and his campaign just don’t know what is going on.

Maybe I am just being baited, if so I’ll bite.

I for one have already written 200 letters to potential Iowa Caucus voters beating the positive drum of my former Senator of Tennessee.

The nearest thing that I had in my letter that could be construed as a slam on the compitition is in the next two paragraphs:

“As an only child, I have been a 24/7 caregiver for the past nine years for my late father, who died on October 19, 2007. He had Alzheimer’s disease. During the eulogy I pronounced for my Dad I told the congregation that if I had to come up with one word to characterize my Dad that word would be STEADFAST. My sweet gentle father was the same yesterday, the same today and he’d be the same tommorrow.

That is the same word, STEADFAST; I would use to characterze Fred Thompson. Fred does not flip and flop or bend to the prevailing wind of political expediency a rare quality in today’s political environment.”

Everything else in my one page letter was about Fred’s conservative record.

Hey! don’t just take my word for it. After Fred retired from the Senate, he gathered up all his papers pertaining to his Senate service and donated them to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.

So you see there is more going on the land of the fredheads that is positive than you might have otherwise imagained.
