Way to go guys. I wish I had not been so afraid of retaliation from my agency or I would have gone. It’s just easier to keep your job than try to get it back. Just call me a girlie man.

Well we will know in a week ot two the 60 day time limit is coming to a close next week

The crowd however was smaller than the number of Border Patrol officers alone that Sutton has cleared in questionable shoots during his tenure

The only one’s ever prosecuted were those who broke the law and had it coming

But thats a different story for a different time - the time when laws meant things

I like Edd alot, he’s a great American - Ramos and Compean were not the person Edd or any of you all here are.

These two posterboys turned down a gracious plea bargin and their conduct during the trial

Additionally, their utter contempt for the American way, infuriated the Jury and the Judge and they reaped what they sowed.

The trial started with a week of attacks by the defense on the drug dealer (everyone with a pulse new he was a drug dealer if they were in the court room).

Then it progressed to every single border patrol officer who testified against Ramos and Compean - having their immunity agreements diagrammed on the courtroom overhead so every juror knew every witness against these two were granted unusual and special immunity.

The second load was discussed and Compeans attorney agreed in trial that it was irrelevant.

Then the stupidity started - Ramos trying to cop out with a mental disorder (which disqualified him from carrying a federal weapon) to his astonishing claim that he only went after drug loads (honestly probably after interviewing these guys pretrial the prosecutors racked it up on them) sunk them faster than Gillian and the Skipper.

Yet somehow this is all Sutton’s fault that they failed to arrest OAD, shot him and left him for dead, joked, laughed, picked up shell casing, started a conspiracy to obstruct justice - all monthss before they were arrested.

    Hmmmmmmmmmm

Bannable. If what you say is true. What about the prosecution’s ignoring his drug traffic during the trial period and the intervention of the Mexican Government on behalf of a Drug dealer; all the way to the White House? This one smells to me of the Trans texas Corridor. {Speaking of which; if we let it happen the ‘owners’ of the corridor will have the same kind of business protection that we’ve given away with our stadium deals. i.e. guaranteed No competition. That could mean no maintenance allowed on sections of I-35 and I 45 within a certain # of miles.] Ps I suppose part of the ‘coverup by Compean et al was ‘makeing up the gun thing? didn’t he have a gun when he was arrested the next time? Maybe I’m wrong but I can’t imagine an unarmed drug dealer. It doesn’t compute.

Eh, what out there? Your electron/solar wind transmissions are not impinging on the disgronificator and are breaking up, making them garbled and unintelligible.

Tweak the thingamabob immediately above the doohickey, reset the frequency, reverse the polar flux to coordinate with precession of the equinoxes, and try again.

  7. Adee on January 27th, 2008 at 11:00 am

Thank you Ree-C for the photo narrative, and thanks to all who went out there to have their say. It surely wasn’t missed by those inside.

What everyone here has failed to mention here is that the charge that really hurt these two was Sutton’s decision to charge them with using a weapon in the commission of a crime. Well duh. It also hasn’t been noted that it was necessary to use a weapon in the commission of their duties. These border agents weren’t directing traffic at some intersection. They were attempting to control our border against drug traffickers and ‘other’ potential threats. Guilty of a cover up, maybe, but the additional charge [in my opinion] was unjustified.

“turned down a graciuos plea bargin”

What a deal, pled guilt to something you are not guily of, spend a year in prison, and be tagged a felon for the rest of your life to avoid being railroaded by an out of control prosecutor who is willing to lie or pull any dirty trick in the book to get a bogus conviction.

  10. trl3 on January 27th, 2008 at 12:47 pm

    pimlico.

Bannable and the truth do not go together.

    Adee, AO & trl3: Amen

  12. Adee on January 27th, 2008 at 2:04 pm

Hmmm, just noticed in looking at the signs again that the pic of J. Sutton/Satan sorta resembles Bing Crosby. No offense to the Crosby family.

  13. pimlico on January 27th, 2008 at 3:10 pm

tri3 thanks for the heads-up. I’m sure that Bannable believes what he says though. I have a great deal of trust in Edd Hendee’s Character. If he’s researched it and put his neck on the line, I’ll take it to the bank.

A profundity one of my husband’s friend sent him to share:

Watch your thoughts…they turn into words.
Watch your words…they turn into actions.
Watch your actions…they turn into habits.
Watch your habits…they turn into character.
Watch your character…it becomes your destiny.

    #14 Outstanding Vlou!

Interesting to see the connect between thought and reality, isnt it?

so is Bannable the net persona of Mr. (and I use that term loosely) Sutton?

I saw the “coverage” (and I use that term loosely also) this morning on one of the news channels and they really didn’t explain what was really up, so the public out there STILL doesn’t know what’s really going on. (And no, not Bannables “version” of it either.)

  18. Dov on January 27th, 2008 at 7:23 pm

Thank You AW. I couldn’t be there, yet you were for me

  19. american woman on January 27th, 2008 at 8:08 pm

Yes that’s me with the deport sign…… I look like I’m drunk!! hehe…… There were people all the way down that side, and some watching the other corners of the building to see if they could catch Sutton, coming or going. Down from me, to your right on the other corner was the man in the wheel chair.

  20. american woman on January 27th, 2008 at 8:10 pm

The next picture down from the one I’m in,the man with the flag, is the gentleman who has the turtle habitat. The wonderful story of how a man with a turtle habitat, and a woman with a lonely turtle, met, fell in love and married.

  21. american woman on January 27th, 2008 at 8:13 pm

Luv2, there are things you can do but I can’t, and things I can do but you can’t. So, we are together in spirit, and work for the common good.

  22. american woman on January 27th, 2008 at 8:21 pm

Ree-C I know who you are now! You turkey!! I wish I had known that was you at the event!

  23. american woman on January 27th, 2008 at 8:28 pm

One more quick story of that day. After this series of pics were taken, a little lady, maybe 5′ tall with white hair came to stand by me. She had a head scarf to keep herself warm, and a long winter coat. She brought her small flag. She said she had followed this case with Edd on the radio and had to come. She couldn’t stay long, because she was having a luncheon for her lady friends. I was so impressed that she would take the time, in the cold, to come stand for an hour and a half or so. Great lady. She said she couldn’t believe what was happening to this country.

    American Woman:

I know who you are now too! Hopefuly next time, we’ll get to chat!

Thanks so much for being there and filling in detais. I had to take my daghter to an appointment for 10:00 and had to get going before we really wanted to go.

You probably would have had a good time chatting with Miss Gayle (pictured above). She went all the way to New Orleans to watch he 5th Circuit hearing. I tell you, Sutton is an idiot. You don’t want the Ladies of Texas of pissed at you and following you around with signs. It is bad “jou jou”…

  25. Ree-C Murphey on January 27th, 2008 at 10:25 pm

AW: By the way, you don’t look drunk, just pissed. Wonder why? ;)

  26. Adee on January 27th, 2008 at 11:24 pm

Right Ree-C, it’s very bad karma to have Texas ladies mad at you.

  27. american woman on January 28th, 2008 at 6:10 am

Ree-C, Miss Gayle looked so angry marching up and down with that flag, I was scared to say anything to her… but you can bet next time, I will certainly talk to such a good patriot.

If we did not have the illegal immigrant occupational army of our country, the Ramos & Campean judicial travesty would never have happened?

With Arizona, Colorado and Oklahoma and shortly Indiana, Kansas and Missouri cracking down on illegal immigration, other states should do the same. Employers who break the law and hire illegal immigrants do not pay workman’s compensation, unemployment insurance, state, federal or Social Security and Medicare taxes. Nor do they provide health insurance; instead, this burden is placed on taxpayers, forcing up insurance premiums. This situation puts employers who obey the law and pay all those expenses at a huge disadvantage.
Illegal employers also encourage identity theft and the use of fraudulent documents. All states will slowly deny social services to non-citizens. If we don’t, only two things can happen. Either many poor residents get a smaller piece of the pie, or politicians will raise taxes to cover everyone.
Do we need higher health-care costs, higher taxes and larger, more crowded classrooms just so some businesses can exploit cheap foreign labor? Do you want your state to become a new border state?
    ONE LAST THOUGHT:
Vote for any presidential candidate who will propose “THE FAIR TAX”. Everybody, and I mean everybody, who lives in America, will pay? The wealthy who skirts the laws to the tune of $12 trillion dollars hidden in foreign refuges, will no longer be able to cheat the middle class.
    VOTE FOR THE “FAIR TAX.”
