Vice President Dick Cheney is returning this weekend to the South Texas ranch where he accidentally shot a hunting companion two years ago. Anne Armstrong said Cheney was expected to arrive today at the Armstrong’s 50,000-acre ranch.
“We have a wonderful quail crop, and he is a fabulous shot,” said Armstrong, a former U.S. ambassador to Great Britain and adviser to Republican presidents.

I aint going hunting with him
Weasel!
Duck!
Actually good humor
I’d go hunting anywhere with Dick Cheney given the opportunity.
Now, Afghanistan or Pakistan, for a certain turbaned individual - THAT’S what I call hunting!
I’d go hunting with Cheney, if for no other reason than to watch those thousand dollar bird dogs working.
Are the Dimwits in “season” yet??? I think they are in “season” in November. I think “RINO”s are in season, now.
Better off Hunting with Dick Cheney, than riding with Ted, Hic’ Kennedy
Cheney’s Got a Gun
McCain going?
Is it child molester or pit bull season?
The guy who got shot by Cheney did a darn foolish thing. He stepped forward of the line of fire without ensuring first that everyone’s gun was safed (correct usage this time!!). Cheney made a mistake of firing without knowing there was nobody down range….but usually bird hunting you are swinging on a target and your sight picture isn’t what is behind the bird…BECAUSE NOBODY IS SUPPOSED TO BE BACK THERE!!!
If I’m going to fault Cheney for anything, it’s for not bagging a bird and a lawyer.
Hope they don’t run into any mules carrying pounds of drugs while they are out there bird hunting. Those guys who protect them are heavily armed.
Secret Service tend to be heavily armed too. Not to mention there are likely some Army Apache helicopters near by and on call. Also couple that with the SS agents likely to be able to actually coordinate their fire and hit things as opposed to a bunch of drug runner using spray and pray…unless it’s a really big shipment guarded by those Mexican military folks we trained in special forces.
Ok, whew, Big45 I won’t worry about him then
I’ve been peppered while dove hunting. Someone got excited and forgot their field of fire. A dove flew over him towards me, he swung across me and BLAM! We were about 200 yards away from each other. I took a few pellets to my face from a 12 guage. I was pissed!!! It took all I had to not shoot back!

If you’ve never benn peppered you proberly don’t taste very good ! I’d with Darth Vader ANY time.!
Faster … never mind .
RE 18 thats hunt with
I still say Cheney should have been sanctioned for not bagging the lawyer.
Bigs and Faster: Thank you. The voices of reason. Do you have those permanent blue spots from the BB’s?
My friend has blue freckles from being peppered. But it was way back when, and he had to go to the vet for treatment.
Question……. what does one hunting trip cost us tax payers, with the proper security and all? Anyone have a clue? I don’t begrudge him the trip. I’m just curious.
The money we spend keeping Democrats and Republicans safe could satiate France.

Halliburton pays for it.
Did he invite McCain, Hillary, and Obama to go with him?
