I’m still on number 3, but willing to jump ship if he doesn’t come around.

From Cornyn; no love lost, there.
Today, I received yet another robo-call from the McCain camp, advising that he’s a “true Conservative in the mold of Ronald Reagan”. It’s not true. He’s not a Conservative. And the closest he gets to being in the mold of Reagan is, well, just think penicillin.

So, we have super-ultra-Liberal Obama, exceedingly Liberal Clinton, and mostly Liberal McCain. And there’s still Huckabee (oh, joy, joy). And Romney is still hanging out there in his “suspended” campaign, holding on to a handful of delegates; for whatever his designs may be.

What a thrilling time to be a Conservative.

I don’t think the talk show folks are angry anymore……. that’s been gone for about 2-3 weeks. They are in ” hold your nose and vote for him” mode. They are even trying to help him, by suggesting folks help Hill/Bill along. They think it will be easier on McCain to go against someone with a record. Good point. Unfortunately, that leaves down ballot shot to death!

Well, this is fine mess the Republicans have gotten themselves into. Well, you play the cards you were dealt and vote for McCain, if for nothing else but to keep HELLary or “BO” from taking over. The liberal media wants everyone to think that the conservatives will stay at home, hopefully allowing a Dimwit to get in. You have to live to fight another day and it is a heck of a lot easier to fight with McCain in office then either of those two Dimwits. So, suck it up, hold your nose and vote for McCain

How much effort would the screecher need to get an amendment on the ballet to end term limits so she and bill could take over as dictator and 1st nasty man permently? espesially with a liberial (includes GOP) congress to stand behind them!

Hellary or yomamma are the USA’s worse nightmare - an end to freedom as we know it.

Vote Duncan Hunter in the primary, then fire a few incombants down ballet

    It’ll make you feel better

I have voted against an incumbent in Tommy Williams. It truly is a catch 22, though… if we want to teach the GOP a lesson, we may have to suffer from years of Demmeroid control before they finally wake up. But if we want to avoid the Demmeroids from taking over, we have to vote for Repubeicans like Tommy Boy Williams/Corbin van Arbuckle/Pecos Perry. The primaries are where we win, but people who gripe the most don’t show up to kick out the incumbents.

I had a horrifying experience Friday. After checking the Republican ballot in my county and finding no down-ballot races that were contested or of concern, I went and picked up a Democrat primary ballot and voted for Hellary. I wanted to have a sign “not a liberal” on my back as I deposited the ballot in the democrat box. It was very hard to pencil in that little circle I tell ya. :-)

#8 I’m proud of you……. you deserve a bubble bath, to remove any of that dingy feeling. I had important down ballet choices, or I would have gladly joined you. I know it was tough. I Like your strategy tho.

Today is Texas’s primary and i thought it was appropriate to be reminded of reality while the U.S. is in the midst of an election process that will most likely make us a kinder, gentler country:

Venezuela Troops Head to Colombian Border…

    China to Increase Military Spending…

Dmitry: Day One… (New Russian president)

OPEC president says he favors cutting oil output…

Israel Says Hezbollah Has 30,000 Rockets…

I really wish the rest of america paid attention enough to these powderkegs and not american idol, because if Obama or hillary makes the white house; i’m really expecting one of these or others to blow as a test. Yes, Mccain can easily be confused with lieberman, but considering the alternatives; it’s a no brainer.

I went to the McCain town hall today.. There was a big bus out front.

Got mainly either prosthelizing “questions” or useless “what you are going to do about my issues of X”.. which means.. “What kind of gimmie program are you going to create to spend my neighbours’ money?”

He dodged an indirect question about having to treat criminal aliens “humanely”… We’re the US after all.. ugh

    Hold the nose indeed..

Blow by blow linked which for Houston’s own fishwrap, came out relatively objective..

Lets say HC gets the nom then wins the general. That will make ya proud I bet. Everybody has the right to vote the way the want but folly begets folly.

The meatballs on talk radio have decided this is a good idea. I dont see it. Last election Mahaa meatball told us everything was good. It sure was good.

    Brace yourselves folks.

DJ, McCain can debate Hillary on a much more level playing field than Saint Obama. And, I don’t think the aged, and veteran politician looks good against a fresh and smiling Obama the change maker.

    BigJ,

Denial and Isolation - Liberals or semi liberal moderators. Conservatives acknowledge McCain will be the candidate and make the best of it.

Anger - Liberals are the ones who are always angry. Perhaps semi liberal moderators too. Conservative talk show hosts with rare exception are positive, happy folks. Only angry conservative I’ve heard so far is Ann Coulter.

Bargaining - we don’t bargain our values. That’s for liberals and semi liberal moderators.

Depression - Definitely for liberals, and perhaps semi liberal moderators. All studies show conservatives are much happier.

Acceptance is something liberals and semi liberal moderators do (particularly those on prozac). Conservatives don’t except quitting.

As a conservative, I don’t do your five steps of mourning. That’s for pansy liberals.

Well, maybe I do the five steps of morning.

    1. I get up in the morning and thank God I’m a conservative and not a liberal.

    2. With morning coffee I realize it’s only 4 years, and I will survive regardless of who is in the WH.

    3. I realize the decisions made this morning might affect the rest of my life, so I’ll make the best of them.

    4. This morning I will find a way to expose the irresponsibility of liberals and hold to the fire the feet of those who said they were conservative and lied to me.

    5. This morning I’ll get on LST and cause mouring amongst liberals and semi liberal moderators.

Cajun, I’m glad I’m out of Tommy Williams district. Boy he ticked me off. Rob Eisler too.
