  2. malcolm on March 10th, 2008 at 8:23 am

This is part of their master plan to have dead people vote. It’s happened before!

  3. navymom on March 10th, 2008 at 8:27 am

    Damn! Shame on ‘em.

  4. emmekelley on March 10th, 2008 at 8:58 am

My first thought is unbelief that they would be so Disrespectful. :(

There’s a pretty good quote in the comments by Matthew N from Little Rock (similar to #2):

You would think Democrats would have more respect for the dead. It is where they get a good percent of their voters.

Someone should have told the Dems “Don’t mess with Texas” and the Dems need to go back out and police the grounds and than stay the He11 out.

Chances are that a large part of those idiots were Katrina transplants.

    Dhimmicrats are an Obamination!

  10. tedtam on March 10th, 2008 at 10:43 am

The dems will keep track of the number of headstones they repair by writing the names on their clipboards.

And guys - don’t be discriminatory - dead people have just as much a right to vote as the felons and illegals do!

I SPIT on your hatemongering against dead people. SPIT, I say!

    /untucking tongue from cheek

Maybe someone here can help me with this. Is it true that in caucus states a few attendees can undo the vote that was cast in the primary held earlier in the day? If true, doesn’t sound very “Democratic” to me.

  12. trl3 on March 10th, 2008 at 11:47 am

They are just waking up their voters.

  13. american woman on March 10th, 2008 at 12:48 pm

#11 yes it’s true. The democrats run their elections a little differently. The caucus appoints folks to vote, and those votes carry weight, as the super delegates do. That’s why you saw 300 people waiting 6 hours to caucus….. each wanted to be the one to have their vote count. Hilary and Obama supporters were fervent and afraid their ballot vote would be tossed aside. If I have this wrong, you guys step in and help An Observer.

The next time that the Hollywierd writers go out on strike all the industry would have to do is hire a few of the commenters on LST. Pretty creative stuff happens here everyday. I know that we can be just as good or better that what they have now! (Especially on some of the SITCOMS!)

    #14 malcolm, My house IS a Sit-Com. ;=)

At one point in time, people in general were genuinely reverent around gravesites. It just seems that our society has generally become much more coarse.

    NA

I agree with you on that, they have gotten rude, crude and inconsiderate IMO.

  18. american woman on March 10th, 2008 at 2:23 pm

Well the democrat party said they will help with the repair…… that’s good. In defense of caucus goers who were terrified their vote wouldn’t count, it was a nightmare. The dems have set up their election in the most bizarre way. What they counted on was people’s indifference to the election….. yawn, vote . But, this time both sides HIl, and Obama, have passionate voters who want to see things done to protect their candidate. The dems were ill prepaired for 300 plus people. The folks had to park somewhere, floods of people, no paperwork, hours spent. It’s a wonder there weren’t killings. I hope the graveyard gets put back perfectly.

  19. dcgirl on March 10th, 2008 at 4:16 pm

You know what - I don’t care if there wasn’t any close parking and the people had to walk for miles - there is no excuse for parking on a cemetery. If you went to a party in a residential subdivision and there was no parking left on the street, would you park in the front yard of someone or go to another block to find parking (and I’m not talking east Texas subdivision here :-) )

  20. american woman on March 10th, 2008 at 4:20 pm

I agree dcgirl, but a party is a leisurely affair. These polls closed and they caucus began…… people were sure their vote wouldn’t count. It created mayhem. They should never have ruined the cemetary. But, there were tons of frantic people trying to get inside because they felt their votes were being stolen…… which they probably are and were.
