We already have Queen Sheila. I don’t think there is room for Queen Shelley. I can’t begin to guess how this run off is going to end. I hope Pete wins, but it seems Shelley is in the ” in crowd”.

It’s the “S” in the first name.

I sure hope Pete wins, we do not need Shelly many names in Washington.

After about 30 min of surfing, I found this site that gives a good breakdown of the primaries.

    http://enr.sos.state.tx.us/enr/mar04_135_state.htm

The margin between SSG and Olsen and Talton increased on election day. It was a closer race during early voting. I hope that that increase was just due to name recognition. And with all those names we are likely to recognize at least one of them.

Hopefully all of the anybody-but-Shelly votes will unite behind Pete. Does anyone know when the runoff will be held?

Runoff is April 8; early voting is short 3-4 days the week before.

Now you guys left out the Rodriquez name when she got elected as a “Hispanic” to City Council….

Just remember… DC is full of revelations, and so is NY….

We need integrity, honesty, ethics… not another Circus performer!

It’s the “S” in the first name.

And the second. And probably a third or fourth we don’t know about yet.

Let’s all take a moment to thank all those wonderful folks on the State Republican Executive Committee and at the Republican Party of Texas who blessed us, seemingly in perpetuity, with this lady when they opted to run her as a write-in candidate against Nick Lampson.

They told us she was a shoe-in back then, but I wonder how many of them backed her this time around…

Oh my gosh, not another scenario where a Queen sHELLey is better than the alternative, Nick, “I’m a Carpetbagger” Lampson. Why is it that given poor imcompetent Dimwit opponnets, the Republicans sink down to that level of the competition with equally as bad nominees???

  9. Adee on March 11th, 2008 at 8:41 am

Shelley is not the nominee yet, folks. She has agreed to at least one debate with Pete, and she will not be able to compete. She is definitely not a shoo-in.

Dist. 22 residents keep in mind the runoff is April 8.

Gotta just keep hope alive. I told one of her political pimps who called the other day that I might vote for the carpetbagging union thug before I would vote for her again.

Remember that runoff votes are very powerful. Turnout will be pathetic.
Take your friends and neighbors out to vote for Pete Olsen.

Can we get an interview with Pete on KSEV??
    Please.

She does have nice skin, though…

    #12 - …and buck teeth.

I like to think of Shelly as merely a “place holder” much like the zero, which has no value.

  15. jacampbell on March 11th, 2008 at 2:25 pm

Why is it that only the women in political forums need to have the maiden-married surnames going?
Does that insure some poll group that I do not know about?
If it is for the independent women, why not keep only their first name?
Or is it because they married some power broker and need their name to assist in squeezing into the system?

I say only the latest title stays with you. You never hear about any CEO-governor-president.

#14 excellent, just excellent. Place holder, she is.
