I’d leave a 100% appropriate and truthful comment, but then I would be considered a “racist” too by the PC Police.

    So what’s your point?

  3. hamous on March 17th, 2008 at 11:29 am

bigjolly - You’re right, this shouldn’t shock anyone.

How do those people know how their donations are used?? Those seeking donations will say just about anything to get a donation. All they have to do to justify it to themselves is, to say that these funds are for black abortions and this anybody fund can go to any other race so that it averages itself out in their minds and everybody is happy. What is the racial makeup of abortions anyway????

A no win situation here. Accept the money & they get jumped on for offing a black kid. Decline the money & they get pummeled for not helping off a kid of any color. I’d accept the money & go on vacation so I could think this paradox through.

How ’bout we just don’t kill babies, regardless of color?

  7. blackgirl on March 17th, 2008 at 11:40 am

    #6 hamous,
don’t you know that is too much like the right thing to do. Yes I was shocked.

79% of Planned Parenthood clinics are placed in minority neighborhoods (black and Hispanic). According to the Center for Disease Control’s report, “Abortion Surveillance”, blacks in particular receive 35% of all abortions in the United States, though they comprise less than 13% of the population.
    ======================
I don’t think that putting the centers only in places like River Oaks would serve much of a purpose. Why open a barber shop in a town where all the people are bald. The centers are put in a place where the need is, even if you disagree with the need. Like #5 said, if you turn away blacks then you really have a problem. There is a greater percentage of single mothers who are black than other races.

Eugenics is alive and well in the good ole US of A. Hmmm wasnt Hitler big into the eugenics movement?

So what you are saying, bigmck, is that abortion is treated as nothing more than a demand/supply situation and that Planned Parenthood is nothing more than a smart marketing firm.

I guess I’d have to agree.

Odd that most aren’t bothered by the fact that the guy wanted his money to go specifically to killing black babies. Interesting.™

  11. trl3 on March 17th, 2008 at 1:37 pm

We should not be killing babies of any color.

  12. jimb on March 17th, 2008 at 1:39 pm

    #9 - So what’s your point?

  13. DanielJames on March 17th, 2008 at 2:45 pm

What do you think my point is jim?

  14. american woman on March 17th, 2008 at 2:58 pm

It struck me immediately yesterday, when I linked this ( ahem BIgJ) that this was inflammatory, because the potential donor only wants his/her money directed to killing black babies. The planned parenthood operative should have handled this call differently. Is it always about the money?

  15. jimb on March 17th, 2008 at 3:56 pm

I guess your point is either that Planned Parenthood is run by a bunch of Nazis (probably not too far from the truth) or that there’s some sort of undesirable connection between PP and the government/media/military/Ron Paul hater complex. I can’t quite tell…

  16. Fink on March 17th, 2008 at 4:08 pm

    No surprise.

Planned Parenthood has been built on lies since it first tried to distance itself from Margaret Sanger.

    re 16:

I guess after you’ve been in such a distasteful business for so long, your sense of morality is somewhat skewed from that of average people. So much so that refusing to notify authorities of statutory rape victims so the slimeball sperm donor/rapist cannot be found and prosecuted is seen as protecting the rights of the victim.

How can those who work at and support PP sleep at night?

  18. Meglet on March 17th, 2008 at 4:19 pm

This just makes me want to throw up.

  19. hamous on March 17th, 2008 at 4:32 pm

How can those who work at and support PP sleep at night?

If I were in their shoes I wouldn’t be worried about sleep so much as worrying about where I’d be spending eternity.

  20. BigJolly on March 17th, 2008 at 4:50 pm

    AW,

Ahem. Didn’t see your link yesterday. Did you also link to the other sources?

  21. texpat on March 17th, 2008 at 5:02 pm

    #14 AW

    Yes.

  22. american woman on March 17th, 2008 at 5:27 pm

#20 No, BigJ, I just linked to the one article about the group, their plan to call PP’s across the country, where taping conversations is legal, and their result. I know you didn’t omit me on purpose.

BIGJOLLY: if I had said all this, I believe that You might think I was being a Conspiricy-phobe. So please give my parnoia a wide berth next time,, please. …….It is ironic that J-Wright ( Reverand Jeramiah) May actually be onto something here… AS usual we all get lumped in with the rest of Whiteyville, when this all would be abhorant to most (I believe) on this site. For the record I also believe that the majority of us would love to see all Children get a good education. Unlike our Markist friends in Washington. Who, if you”ll remember, refused the Republican Congress’s offer to give large #s of Vouchers for the Washington DC children. Children whose district spends more per Child than any other in the US. To sweeten the pot, Congress offered to give the district the remainder of the money. Of course being, committed libs and social engineers of the worst order, ( Kissing Cousins, no doubt, of the The PP people they saw the incremental possibilties of vouchers and decided to side with the NEA, who have a similar agenda and history to the PP forfathers as well……….. Remember, we are only parnoid if they AREN”T really out to get US.
