Why isn’t Carter being prosecuted under the Logan Act?

  2. wfish on April 18th, 2008 at 1:16 pm

    Yes! let’s get ‘er done.

  3. american woman on April 18th, 2008 at 1:19 pm

Carter has no authority to speak for anyone. He needs to loose all funding, and he needs to be branded a traitor. Revoke his passport. Ground him.

Like I said, every picture needs a caption to understand it. So here is my “Top Ten” list of captions for this picture:

    1) Yeah, we don’t need no stinkin’ Jews to have a peace conference.

    2) Yassar, you would have made a great vice-presidental running mate.

    3) Sorry, Yassar, we can’t have a “Habitat for Humanities” without any “human beings”.

    4) Yeah, Jimmah, I can get you a “rag” for your head. What color do you want??

    5) Jimmah, I’m glad you have become a “Born Again Muslim”.

    6) Having a few too many “Billy Beers” can make you do stupid things. But Yassar, you don’t need any.

    7) Yassar, do you get any virgins if you just die.

    8) Portrait of a couple who just “came out of the closet”.

    9) Jimmah, your PLO membership is in the mail. Don’t forget to send the dues.

    10) Yassar, are you sure you don’t want to borrow my razor??

I hope Jimmah appreciates the effort I put into this to express his true feelings.

Excellent job Robert. May I add one? Jimmy thinking………. he’s got my hand, I can’t move away and he stinks to high heaven. I hope I don’t vomit.

Reply to No. 8: How about this: Yassar, if you want to remain friends, you got to get some deodorant!!!! Or how about: Yassar, buddy, you got to cut back on those “pork rinds”.

The poll question doesn’t give an option for “yes.”

  13. FourAlarm on April 18th, 2008 at 3:42 pm

You’re missing the genius of Jimmy. His plan is to endear himself to these cretins, have an explosive device implanted in his chest where there once was a heart, hug the high thug on meeting him, and then KABLOWIEEEEE! I can’t come up with any other explanation for his madness.

I have my own theory about what Carter thinks about America. A visualization here.

  17. headshaker on April 18th, 2008 at 6:37 pm

    Interesting™

We continue to “associate” with the leaders of Saudi Arabia who support terrorism.

And there are many other examples where our “leaders” associate with “the enemy”.

Perhaps we should hold all of them to this standard.

    I’m just sayin’.

If you don’t understand by now the reality of geopolitics and world economics, I’m not going to bother to explain it. There are literally thousand of books, reports and articles to educate you if only you bothered to read them. The U.S. has certainly not always done the right thing and sometimes the right at the wrong time. But there are many circumstances beyond our immediate control and we’ll continue, hopefully, to play the best game we can with the cards we have been dealt.

  19. emmekelley on April 18th, 2008 at 9:18 pm

Whenever I think of Carter I think of two things.
    1. Carter has a brain the size of a peanut, and he is such a “Peanut brain” that is how stupid he is on world affairs.
    2. Carter Pills.
    :)

  20. headshaker on April 18th, 2008 at 10:16 pm

    #18 texpat

So when someone like Bush and Cheney do it it’s geopolitics, but when a former Democratic President like Carter does it it’s a travesty.

    Interesting™

  21. squawkbox on April 18th, 2008 at 10:24 pm

Uhhhh Carter was not a democrat. Just so ya know, not that it makes any difference.

Carter is acting as a “private” citizen. He is not acting as a representative of the United States and frankly he does not have any business doing what he is doing. He does not represent Israel or anyone else and his actions can place the US and her allies in a precarious position.

So you see there is a huge difference between what Carter is doing and what Bush/Cheney does.

  22. BigJolly on April 18th, 2008 at 10:42 pm

Hmm. The old Shakey is back.

    Interesting.™

The whole thing is much too complicated for Shaker. It’s just too hard for him to make those types of important distinctions.

  24. headshaker on April 18th, 2008 at 11:33 pm

LOL. Just testing to make sure I haven’t gone completely insane.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Someone find Jimmy a nice nursing home, please.

What is the point of even attempting to negotiate peace. It’s in the Arab leaders best interest to keep the Palistinian refugees in camps, unaided, because it perpetuates Jewish hatred. History speaks for itself.

    (from palestinefacts.org)

In 1923, the Arab Palestinians were given 75% of Palestine in which to form their first Arab- Palestinian state of Jordan. The Jewish Palestinians were supposed to be given the remainder. However, the Arabs wanted ALL. So 24 years later in 1947 this remaining 25% that remained of the original “Palestine” was to be re-divided again into equal portions… the Arab Palestinians would be given their second nation while the Jewish Palestinians would be given their one and ONLY state. But still, as before and as ALWAYS, the Arabs wanted it all … “every last inch” and “every last grain of sand” as they said then and as they say now! And so in 1948 they and their fellow Arabs in neighboring states launched an all-out war on the this newly-created Jewish Palestinian nation [Israel] and lost. Now, more than a half century later, they demand that Israel give them what was first offered in 1947! And, during that same half century, Israelis have build large, thriving communities with roads, hospitals, universities, synagogues, electric grids, communications facilities, post offices and other civil infrastructures within that liberated land.

In the wake of this war, approximately 420,000 Arab- Palestinians fled to Arab states from the portion of Palestine that is now Israel. Arabs remaining in Israel numbered 140,000. Conveniently not mentioned was that only 15% of these fleeing Arab “Palestinians” were actually landowners… the remainder were simply squatters! And practically never acknowledged by the Arab world was that 860,000 Jewish refugees fled from Arab countries to Israel! The latter are the refugees the Arab world seems to forget mentioning when they squawk about refugees! For example, before the Jewish Palestinians declared their State of Israel in 1948, there were 350,000 Jewish people in Iraq alone… fully one-fifth of Baghdad’s citizens were Jewish! After the creation of the State of Israel hundreds of thousands of the Iraqi Jews fled for their lives. Most went to Israel. (So,in a fair negotiation, it looks like a lot of Jewish people should have their land in Iraq and other countries restored to them, or be paid for it - claims the Palastinian refugees have made)

We don’t hear about any Jewish refugees who were thrown out of many Arab countries in 1948 for most of them were absorbed by their fellow Jews within Israel. The children and grandchildren of these Jewish refugees are now free and productive citizens. Yet, none of the 24 Arab countries has opened their arms to embrace their refugees as new citizens. Instead, these refugees and their descendants were dumped into camps of poverty and degradation for the world to see, further fanning the flames of hatred. Ironically, the Arabs who did not flee and, instead, remained inside Israel became Israeli-Arab citizens have fared far better than those in Arab countries.

So, the Arab countries and Hamaas do NOT want peace. UN welfare to the refugees has come from the west, with the Arab countries contributing less that 5% of the aid. What they want is the destruction of Israel and they will never agree to peace.

So, Jimmy Carter, you are either naive or a fool, but either way you are anti-semitic
