Congratulations to Laura Ingraham and daughter Maria!
by Ree-C Murphey | 05/09/2008 7:14 am | Alert moderatorIn case you missed it, Laura Ingraham had been missing from her radio show a couple of days. (Our very own Edd Hendee filled in one day!)
But why? Why would Laura go “missing” for a few days during an important Primary time? Just what kind of “mission” could she have possibly been involved with?

Meet Maria Caroline, Laura’s new daughter!! (Caroline is Laura’s Mom’s name.)
Laura adopted Maria from an orphanage in Guatemala. This “mission” has been in the works for 3 years!
What a beautiful, special little girl!
Congratulations Laura and Maria!!!!

Congratulations indeed. It’s a wonderful thing for Laura and Maria, to have found each other.

Now this is a breath of FRESH AIR, especially after yesterday’s slug-fest. Does anyone know the status of Laura Ingraham’s cancer? I know that she got it about the same time as Tony Snow. I’m guessing that she’s O.K? I hope so, as I’m worried about Tony Snow. I Like Laura MUCH better than Hannity or even Tony Snow. She has class, where as Hannity is an apologist, not mention he puts up with that “SLIME Ball” Colmes, calls him a friend!?. I know, I know the theatrics works but I could shave every morning knowing that I was helping this guy make a living and use up a good portion of our good air. I don’t get to listen to Laura’s show though because as Benzene says; “I have a real job”.

Good for both of them.

Yes, congrats to them both. Internatinal adoptions can be tricky so I’m very glad this one worked out. I’ve no doubt both Caroline and Laura Ingraham will be blessed.

Congrats Laura!

I’m happy for mother and new daughter. She looks so peaceful in the pic–like she doesn’t have a care in the world. My hat is off to folks like Laura Ingraham.
A friend of mine told me of her experiences with international adoption and the increased red tape she encountered because she is single. Her kids are adorable too.

She could have adopted ME on a much shorter time frame. Passed over once again. (sigh)

What she has done is one of the most unselfish things a person can do. Thanks Laura for giving this little girl a real chance in life with a loving family. I wonder how Lucy is handling this.

I asked her to adopt me back in 2002 or ‘03 when she first appeared in Houston doing her show live in the evening.
What a rush! BTW, she sure is short.

Awwww that’s so exciting!! I am so happy for them!

#15 Mikey51, She’s short? Interesting, I never thought about it, but I wouldn’t have thought that.
BTW; back in 83 When I worked @ Hobby Airport, we did a lot of work for Mitsubusi, (factory owned airplane company), and their Hanger was just West of the terminal and was used by many Corporate Jets coming into Hobby because it was close to the Gate. Late one Friday I was in the Lobby to get the keys to a Lear 35, and Sonny and Cher came running through from the ramp. Man they’re both short!! Sonny was taller than her, maybe 5′3-4″!?
On TV She was taller, I think? She, of course didn’t have on heels.
My co-worker called the MU-2, the Aircraft, made by the Country that brought you “Pearl Harbor”!!
NOOO, BENZINE,…. It was a JOKE!!

BTW; I think that the Parking Ramp is now where this Hanger used to be.
