Well, well, they just couldn’t leave well enough alone. In her latest attack on Joe Horn, the law abiding citizen that protected his neighbor’s home and his neighborhood’s peace and security, Lisa Falkenberg ends her column:
The little old man from Pasadena gunned down two men like dogs.
That is outrageous and she should be fired.
Opinion is one thing. Baseless statements like that are slanderous and have no place in a serious newspaper. Joe Horn didn’t wake up one day wanting to shoot anyone. Two criminals broke into his neighbor’s home and then ran towards him as he was pointing a shotgun at them. Joe Horn had no choice.
And a Harris County grand jury agreed with him.
The next thing Lisa and the editors that let this be published need to hear is: You’re Fired!
Then again, it has been a long time since the Houston Chronicle has been considered a serious newspaper.

In yesterday’s Joe Horn poll, LST voters picked choice #1 by a 12 to 2 margin:
Press 1 if you favor the Joe Horn method of stopping a crime in progess.
Press 2 if you favor the noodle method of letting the criminal go merrily on their way to commit other crimes in hopes that law enforcement officials will capture them, keep them in jail until their trial, sentence them to lengthy prison terms, then deport them to their native country and ensure the border is guarded sufficiently to prevent their return.
Well, what do you do with rabid dogs?
Perhaps the comical would put up an on line poll for voters to indicated how they feel. Make it really simple. Do you support Joe Horn’s actions. Yes or no. I don’t think the Comical has the cajones to do it.

Lisa Falkenberg’s latest assault on our sensibilities is just one more reason why the Chronicle’s circulation numbers are dropping faster than Pasadena burglars. Thinking Houstonians don’t buy her half-baked tripe, and they don’t buy the liberal rag she writes for either. I can’t help but wonder how bad the Chron’s numbers would be if they weren’t dumping mass quantities of papers in the driveways of non-paying customers.
#11 Maltboy: They dumped 18 papers in my driveway. I was leaving them to see just how stupid their carrier is. With #18, they dumped one of those blue plastic ‘chronicle’ boxes on top of this pile of crap!!! Idiots! I put it right up - on top of my garbage can!
I then called their distribution dept and told the guy to make sure it is being recorded, gave him my address, told him that ONE MORE paper in my driveway is going to get them a complaint filed with MontCo sheriff dept for littering and for harrassment. And I will do it. One more paper is all it will take.

Hearst Corp (Chron’s parent co) has deep pockets so they don’t give a flip about their readers. All the local people that used to be the Chronicle are long gone, replaced by New York Times wannabes….carpetbaggers of the worst kind….not a true journalist among them.

Yesterday her cohort Rick (plagiarism?,who?, me?)Casey was ripping the DAs office for charging the 14 year old who drowned her newborn in a toilet. Poor misunderstood child, boo hoo. Killing babies ok, shooting illegal alien burglars with criminal records a no no. As a native Houstonian of 58 years who grew up reading the Chronicle when it reflected community values, I can only say the faster this rotten leftist rag goes out of business the better!

I was reading news stories in the Honolulu Advertisers today. If another country does the killing, the dead ones are militants, extremists, or insurgents. If the US attacks them, they are people. Not kidding.
I’m sure if the two Gents (Animals) who were working as illegal freelance movers that Mr. Horn stopped had picked another target of opportunity and broken into Ms. Falkenberg’s house at 2am morning she would have been overjoyed and welcomed them with open legs (err Arms) ahem! Yeah.. Right! She would be no different than all the other free thinking liberals. There would have been a “magic” (unexplained) handgun produced by Ms. Falkenberg one that she would claim no knowledge of owning that she would’ve used to “Frighten away her assailants” Said “movers” would then take on the terms that we (you and I) use to describe them in her prose.
