This should send the Obama crowd into a froth. Clever, clever touch with Charlton (may he rest in peace) at the end that should really engage voters of a certain vintage who know what the movie is. And maybe female disaffected Hillary supporters in particular…. Heard the audio yesterday on Rush’s show, but the video really nails it.

Refresh my memory. What exactly is Spike Lee famous for? Anything besides racial/racist agitprop?
#3 Not sure if that is sarcasm or not, but Spike Lee is famous for his movies - he’s a director, producer and writer. He also starred in the original Air Jordan commercials and that was a huge ad campaign that propelled Nike in the early 90’s. I think he may have written those spots as well, but I’m not sure.
I realize he’s a “serious” director, but it seems all I ever hear is his political views, almost like Oliver Stone. I was just asking what he did so I could make a better connection.

To answer the question at the top of the post, no, I don’t think the ad will influence independent thinkers. It’s more likely aimed at the religious right wing base of the republican party.
To many In this election, a candidate’s skin color is all that matters.

Obama, call him the great pretender. He does well with a prepared speech, when he talks off the cuff he shows clearly that he is the “clueless one”.
He is a very dangerous man.
I think that Spike Lee is also famous for refusing to pay his taxes.
I guess I’m one of those strange people that actually like Spike Lee’s movies. Mo’ Better Blues and Do The Right Thing are classics. IMO.
Beware of Obama petending that he’s for oil drilling, beware of most of the Libs. saying they want offshore drilling, they can say that now because they have very few days left to vote on anything. So they can easily claim they are pro drilling because nothing much will happen until after the election, and then my friends it is TOO LATE, they’ll change their mind back. If fhey don’t get it done before, I would say do not trust them! If they don’t get it done you need to vote against them.

I believe tha Obama ( and other Libs) believe so much in affirmative action, that they ALL want some kind of leg up. In Campaigns, it is manifested by a whining, moaning, “it isn’t fair” kind of dialogue. Edwards and Clinton both expected the same thing. Despite their education and ‘class’ they expect to be ‘crowned’ with the title.
In Obama’s case though he has kicjed it to a higher level and expects us to ‘worship’ at his feet. He believes his own propaganda. He’s the one to put ‘Race ‘ in the race. We should expect a large # of Blacks to vote for him. Many of whom will think and feel that it is about time etc. I can’t blame them. But they should at least admit that it is because of his race that they are voting.
If that is the criteria we are going by, then I am voting for the white guy.

Wow, HAL kicked me off and I had to re-log in again. Any way, I was saying that it appears “BO” is hedging (aka flip/flopping) on that idea of offshore drilling. Apparently, his handlers realized there are more voters with a problem with gas prices than there are environmental-wackos. And also there is too long a campaign season ahead that his handlers cannot hide the real “BO”. “BO”s mystique is slowly but surely going away. Just like in HELLary’s case, no matter how you package the product, if it sucks, it sucks!!!!!
