I heard a woman yesterday on Rush talk about Michelle Omarosa Obama. Great minds think alike, I’ve been calling her that for months. it may not be fair to Omarosa, though.

Someone gave me a big “Pashaw” on yesterday’s Open Comments for suggesting we “snap our pocketbooks shut” on these liberal rags and the “Big Three” networks that continue to publish un-American, communist babble. Well, it seems some folks are already doing the things I am only talking about

  3. Robert 1 on September 5th, 2008 at 11:31 am

I think the “soccer moms” are the ones revolting because they are the ones who probably subscribe to this rag. They have taken a major offense to any slam on a member of the “sisterhood”. They know if they can balance work and family then why can’t Sarah Palin.

The extra publicity will likely get them more extra newstand readers than that. There’s no bad PR when it comes to gossip rags.

Two old sayings (cliches?) come to mind: “Never pick fights with people who buy ink by the barrel,” and “Never wrestle with a pig - you’ll both get dirty and the pig likes it.”

    Dude got Pwn3d…

He actually had the nerve (can’t say ba11s, he’s too much of a lying nancy-boy for those) to say that the “lies” part of the cover referred to the lies the blogs in the “reality-based” fever swamp were telling. Rrrrriiiiiggggghhhhhtttttt. If you believe that, I’ve got some “coastal property for sale that you might be interested in. It’s 200 acres (if the tide’s out).

And now Oprah refuses to allow Sarah on her show over the objections of her staff. But she did have The One on. They have a term for someone in power who shows favoritism to those of their own race. What is the word for that? Hmmm, let me think….

“we didn’t have time to get into that” Whoa whoa whoa hold the horses its US Magazine what the hell kinda rush were they in i looked up all that info in a few minutes using google

  10. jimb on September 5th, 2008 at 1:03 pm

4 - The Us Magazine cover in and of itself will do more good for McCain/Palin than it will for Us Magazine. Unless you live in a hole and don’t already know how transparent the lies told by the left were.

Or unless you’re a die-hard liberal who’s already made up their mind.

  11. wagonburner on September 5th, 2008 at 1:17 pm

Bradley Jacobs: Yammer yammer, yada yada, blah, blah.
FoxNews infobabe: I kicked your a$$, wait a sec while I take name… ok, thanks for playing our game today Mr. Jacobs. Your a$$ should heal in a few days. The charming Carol Merrill will tells us what Mr. Jacobs will receive as consolation gifts.

US magazine refused any more interviews after this slaughter. She did a great job and he is a nancy boy, great name! Keep it up all you liberals. It’s great for independents and moderates to see what we have known all along. The media has a liberal agenda and wants to determine election outcome. Soccer mom’s may be really busy, but this cover is at every grocery store check-out in the USA. McCain gets a bump and doesn’t spend a dime.

  13. Darren10 on September 5th, 2008 at 2:10 pm

Since I don’t even subscribe to any of these gossip magazines, I didn’t even think of contacting them expressing my distaste for how US portrayed Palin. Simple and yet brilliant idea BoGJolly to contact them anyway.

Also This just in on Drudge:

OPRAH’S STATEMENT: “The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”

This quote, which cites Oprah’s clear declaration NOT to use her show as a platform for any candidate sits directly above a photo of Oprah sitting on the set with B. Obama, doing a nice interview with him.

A picture is worth a thousand words? This one’s worth millions.

    About the video:

It was either Edd Hendee or Glenn Beck that pointed out also that Todd Palin’s DUI happened even before they were married. A friend of mine also told me that it happened at the same time B. Obama was snorting cocaine (don’t know when tha was, but it is my understanding that B. Obama’s did admit to that). Fair and balanced article my behind.

This liberal girly man was scared. I mean there was real fear in his eyes. Geez…he wasn’t even in the same studio. Wuzz

  16. Robert 1 on September 5th, 2008 at 2:49 pm

Add on to No. 13: If I remember correctly, Oprah’s ratings took a hit the first time she appeared at a rally for “BO”. That’s why you don’t see her at anymore of them. Now, this should be another hit to her ratings because the “soccer moms” always thought of Oprah was a fair and honest person which we now know is she is not. Instead of “biting the bullet” they would rather be shot by it when you show bias and favoritism toward one candidate or another when you profess the opposite. I’m telling you the “soccer moms” are going to revolt if they keep slamming their sister, the “hockey” mom. They’re going to say “enough is enough” and to show their support, they will vote for her so that the “hockey mom” can draw attention to the fact that a woman can balance work and family. They are going to say, how come you don’t ask “BO” if he can balance work and family???

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s eldest son, Track, will perform security duties for his brigade’s top officers.

I didn’t know Biden’s son will be deployed soon too. Good for him. God speed to both. May they both serve well and return with honor.

Sept. 5 (Bloomberg) — John McCain’s campaign expects to leave the Republican National Convention with $200 million in the bank and be able to match the Democrats’ spending in the next two months, an aide said.

McCain will depart from the St. Paul, Minnesota, convention with $84.1 million in federal funds and the Republican National Committee will have about $125 million, the campaign aide said, speaking on condition of anonymity. Fundraisers are working to bring in another $80 million to $100 million over the next two months, the aide said.

With an increase in fundraising following McCain’s choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, Republicans say they are no longer in danger of being swamped by Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama’s campaign cash.

Lookit: I don’t mind calling these people in protest, but I need some “form letter” of talking points. When I sent my 5 cent check (yeah I know it was s’pose to be 2 cents but I was feeling generous) to Rick Perry, I didn’t have to say anything.

As most of you know, I lack tact. I need help with tact, dang it!! Thank you, in advance. It’s on my “list of things to do” for Monday.

Remember GW got hammered because he used to drink a lot. Bill Clinton was given a pass because he didn’t inhale.

I didn’t know there was such a rag as US Weekly or what ever they call it. After reading the script Jacobs got his a$$ handed to him on a platter. But it was fairly balanced.

I’ve read about one little piece of Civil Disobedieence people have been doing to express thier displeasure with Us magazine:

Taking the magazine and putting it in the toilet paper aisle.
