Joe Biden says it was scary and it was Al Qaeda!
“If you want to know where Al Qaeda lives, you want to know where Bin Laden is, come back to Afghanistan with me,” Biden said. “Come back to the area where my helicopter was forced down, with a three-star general and three senators at 10,500 feet in the middle of those mountains. I can tell you where they are.”
What really happened?
In February 2008, Biden — along with Sens. John Kerry, D-Mass., and Chuck Hagel, R-Neb. — was on a chopper that made an emergency landing in the mountains of Afghanistan.
A snowstorm had forced them down.
John Kerry says it was a walk in the park!
“The weather closed in on us,” Kerry told the AP at the time in a phone interview from Turkey. “It went pretty blind, pretty fast and we were around some pretty dangerous ridges. So the pilot exercised his judgment that we were better off putting down there, and we all agreed…We sat up there and traded stories.”
Kerry joked, “We were going to send Biden out to fight the Taliban with snowballs, but we didn’t have to do it…Other than getting a little cold, it was fine.”
Yeah, Joe, that’s at least the equivalent of John McCain’s time as a POW. LMAO. Effing Democrats.

Aren’t there some civilian medals they can get? BADen needs for John “Flip/Flop” Kerry to teach him how to “embellish” this incident for this campaign.
Biden also in a fashion remiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks and generally ravaged the country side of Afghanistan
To bad the pilot didn’t send all three senators out into the snowstorm armed with two snowballs. Once they got clear of the chopper he should have taken off. Would have done the American people a great service.
Does this lend credence to the rumor that Obama will dump him and recruit Hillary? I never did understand the Biden pick, but it’s an election, not tag-team wrestling.

IIRC - Genghis Khan actually was in Afghanistan way back when. The locals might be able to deal with an attempted repeat.
When CNN did the debate with citizens sending in their questions, a man sent in a question about guns. He wanted to know if the dems running for office would keep his ” baby” safe. Biden went off on him as being mentally unstable, etc. A day or so ago, Biden was in WV or somewhere like that, and said ” Obama ain’t takin my barretta.” What a pandering idiot.

Biden’s gone off the reservation a couple other times the last two or three days.
He said that the ad criticizing McCain for computer illiteracy was wrong to do. He also started to imply that TOWBWF wasn’t aware of the content until the interviewer (Couric, I believe) pointed out that the required disclaimer for the ad said “I’m Barack Obama, and I approved this ad.”
He also flip-flopped on the AIG bailout bill, leading TOWBWF to “scold” him, as he (TOWBWF) had just criticized McCain for doing the same thing.
