How about printing out: “McCain, turn right if you wanna win

If he does, I can guarantee a victory.

According to the current pic in the background on Big Jolly’s link, it can’t hurt having drunken college football fans cheering you on.

Waitaminnit. So if McCain fights for the plumber (a little guy, to be sure) then he’s somehow bad? I thought Dems STOOD UP for the little guy!

It ain’t over till it’s over. Hussein has got to hold back his true colors for about another two weeks. Joe BADen has to just quite talking because he always speaks before he thinks. That ACORN thing had better not blow up in Hussein’s face. Hussein’s college transcript had better not get out or his real birth certificate. And the black radicals had better quite endorsing Hussein, it looks bad. There are a few other factors we probably don’t know about. If he survives all the above then HE MIGHT get elected purely on his qualifications and experience.

I’m definitely putting this in my vehicles!

Look at these polls. AP is outlier.

  7. BigJolly on October 22nd, 2008 at 2:26 pm

    #6 ms,

Yes, this poll and the GWU/Battleground polls are outliers. Is that why they are being ignored?

Is the LA Times not releasing the video of Obama toasting Rashid Khalidi because it is an outlier and not representative of his life? Think Ayers/Wright.

Did the NY Times do a hit piece on Cindy McCain’s prescription drug abuse while refusing to comment on Obama’s cocaine use because Obama’s cocaine use is an outlier?

No, I think some things are intentionally overlooked by the large media outlets to further their goals.

BigJ you are so right, and your post is excellent. From now till election we are going to hear about the landslide for Obama. We are going to hear it’s over. Etc. Etc. It’s the liberal, standard tactic to demoralize voters. DO not pay attention to the voodoo masters. Go vote. Take someone with you when you vote.Stand up! Stand up for Joe, a citizen, whom the Obama machine tried to destroy. A private citizen asked a question and the Obama machine tried to destroy him! Do you know how dangerous the future could be for free speech? The truth squad in Colorado? Be very afraid.

As long as they are addicted minions to gov’t handouts. Once they step up to the Democrat leader, then it’s time to shut them up.

I think the truth squad of sheriff’s and district attorneys was in Missouri but the principle is the same.

After Powell endorsed Obama — while defending the Iraq invasion and the rationale of weapons of mass destruction — Biden focused on the endorsement.

Biden ran through the list of high-ranking titles Powell has had and said that Powell’s endorsement meant there should be “no more questions.”

    here’s a link to Biden’s comment:

    http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/10/biden-powell-en.html

That whole attitude of “no more questions” — exemplified in attacking Joe the Plumber and pushing the “Fairness Doctrine” — just shows their utopian belief that they are totally correct, commissioned by nature and history to rip this nation from grasp of those who cling to religion and guns and bitterness.

Many tyrants in the past century believed the same thing and were quite willing to “break a few eggs to make an omlet.”

My fellow eggs, this is no time to be yellow!

Is there any truth to the rumor that ACORN is now providing the people for the polling as well as the registered voters???

  12. pimlico on October 22nd, 2008 at 3:08 pm

I think the large early voting could be a sign of the electorate are getting the message. ( and ‘hopefully’ giving them an opportunity to go some where else on election day.)
( I think I heard that Darren is chartering an aircraft to take all and sundry to Pennsylvania to vote. )
Besides, if they poll 6000 democrats and 200 Republicans, that makes McCain a little bit ahead.

Printed and will be on in my windshield by drive time!

Every time BHO and his campaign (that includes his support staff we know as the MSM) attacks JtP it is a direct attack on the rest of us who are not in the club of elites.

IMO this will be a 51-49 election, just like the last several; all talk of landslides is WAAAY premature. It might wind up more lopsided in the electoral college, but I’d be stunned if the difference between the candidates’ vote totals is more than 5%. This is still a very divided country.

That said, Jolly, not to throw a wrench into your new slogan, but the plumbers and teachers unions all endorsed Obama. If you’re fighting for plumbers and teachers, by pushing McCain you’re opposing the guy they support.

Also, anyone who uses the word “communist” to describe Obama needs a serious history lesson. Ironically, real communists (both of them who are left, anyway - it’s a dead ideology) would have nothing but disdain for Mr. Obama and his policies. He’s worthy of criticism on many levels, but Khrushchev he ain’t.

  16. BigJolly on October 22nd, 2008 at 7:09 pm

    Gritsy,

You need to get your A game back, mi amigo. Seriously. That wasn’t even worthy of your byline.

Close election, perhaps in popular vote. I’m of the opinion that it will be seriously one sided in the electoral college.

Plumbers and teachers unions ARE NOT the Joe’s of the world. They DO NOT represent their members well AT ALL, one reason they are pushing so hard to eliminate secret ballots. Which is why, in right to work states, unions are basically impotent. And you already know that, which is why I said you need to get your A game back.

The Joe’s of the world are busting their tails trying to better their lives while union bosses (northern for the most part) are about keeping power and expanding social welfare. And you are talking to someone that has and will continue to defend HONEST unions in RIGHT TO WORK states.

Why don’t you give me that history lesson on communism? You know, since you know so much about it. While you prepare that outline, why not peruse this. Might be interesting.

    Take a break, I’m buying.

  17. ShinerBlonde on October 22nd, 2008 at 8:18 pm

I’m am totally for the”I AM JOE” signs! Great idea! Now here’s another one I heard about from a friend today -

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read “Vote Obama, I need the money.” I laughed.

Once in the restaurant my server had on a “Obama 08″ tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference–just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need–the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I’ve decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

    Shiner,

    That’s pretty funny.

    Because it’s true!

  19. Matt Bramanti on October 22nd, 2008 at 9:22 pm

That said, Jolly, not to throw a wrench into your new slogan, but the plumbers and teachers unions all endorsed Obama. If you’re fighting for plumbers and teachers, by pushing McCain you’re opposing the guy they support.

Come on, cornmush, now you’re not even trying.

Your argument rests on the faulty premise that a union — and only a union — accurately reflects the desires of the profession it purports to represent.

Indeed, those unions don’t even represent a majority of the occupations you mentioned. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are about 569,000 plumbers and pipefitters. The United Association, which represents that occupation, has 320,000 members, many of whom are neither Americans (the UA includes Canada) nor plumbers (it includes HVAC technicians).

The same holds true for teachers. There are about 4 million teachers in the U.S., of which the National Federation of Teachers represents 1.5 million.
