I’m proud to be counted among his “rowdy friends” even though my rowdy days are pretty much behind me. With Bocephus, what you see is what you get and we apparently still think somewhat alike. I’m ok with that. Country boys will survive!

Ah, so you like cornbread and iced tea, too? Yumm. (Though my Mississippi wife says Texas’ sweet cornbread is an abomination, she’s found a lot of top-notch sweet tea here.)

You Betcha! Fried catfish and hush puppies ain’t bad either. Sounds like you got yourself a winner even if she doesn’t appreciate ’sweet cornbread’. That’s not required, I even know native Texans that prefer just plain ol’ cornbread. Me? I’ll take it either way and ask for more. Guess you can’t take the country out of the boy.

If my hubby was not already voting for McCain (to him, war hero is all he needs to know) Bocephus would have made him take a look at McCain again…
