The folks here at LoneStarTimes.com really like KSEV afternoon host, Texas State Senator, and certified right-wing crazy Dan Patrick, and “Dan’s Stuff” is where we show it.

Even if Dan wasn’t LST’s founder, and radio-industry mentor to our publisher, we’d still want to help him promote his show and the causes he believes in.

In fact, he is responsible for launching LST, and he might still one day see the error of his ways and offer David Benzion a full-time on-air gig, so we aim to be no less solicitous of his needs or obsequious in light of his desires as we would be of anyone who may soon have the authority to command Department of Public Safety agents to obey his every whim.

Just to be clear:

• Dan doesn’t tell us what to write on LST or what links to put here, just as we don’t tell him what to say on the radio or how to run his Senate office.
• That said, we are in regular, personal contact with Dan. and agree with him on a lot of things, and want to see him succeed, so it should come as no surprise that our interests and agendas often intersect.
• Nevertheless, LST and its management don’t always agree with or share Dan’s opinion, stance on issues or causes, and neither does Dan always agree with what we say or do here.

Bottom line–we like to make Dan happy because we are grateful for all he’s done for us in the past and he mentions our name on the radio, which drives traffic to our site.
